Bah, Thanksgiving isn't even a holiday in Brazil, people don't even celebrate it!

I like to rape children
Well, seeing as the breast cancer lay out thing did absolutely nothing but look hideous, I suggest we don't do that.
On a side note, who misses Boston Legal?

Huh? Anyway, we could do a collab on all the shows that been set to reruns, but how they would be like without the writers.
You can be in Paris. You can be in a Hilton. Just don't be in Paris Hilton.

Sorry to double-post, but I really should say more. We can't last on reruns forever; else very little TV watching will be done in the future, and that ain't good. :P They deserve better for what they do, because without them, most TV shows wouldn't exist in the first place.

lol..........
We should all meet up and spend a day making picket signs for them to protest with, along with those sherbert pop up ice cream thingies. It'd be great!
I hope game writing doesn't get involved with the strike any time soon o_O...
Still, Happy Thanksgiving everyone, even if I don't celebrate it :P.
Well, im in england, so not sure if the writers guild even extends to over here (or, at least the strike) but i would enjoy making a flash for it (if i am doing it for a reason i may stick to it :P)

I'm thinking its just the same deal as other shows, they were written before the strike occurred so they have a script. There are also new episodes of some shows on CBS, but they are being affected because they can't shoot any new episodes right now. So cartoons are being affected, we just can't see it yet.
I don't understand why studios don't give into the writers demands. Its obvious the studio needs writers, look at whats happened with the late night shows. Its also not like they are asking for a large amount of money, they just want more money from DVD sales and internet views.
One sort of stupid idea I had was someone make a flash where the characters never say anything because there is nobody to write the script. They just sort of wander around aimlessly. It shows how important writers really are.
Here is an idea...
We make a collab about people sugesting 'original ideas' to some people...?
This is a quick drawing...
Cake for guessing what idea I'm copying...
I wish the writers/actors of Heroes walked off set too; maybe then they'd stop the show before it ruins itself.
Ok, joke time over. I've heard a lot of mixed views on the strike. For example, crew members (as opposed to writers and actors) have to stop working and thus stop getting paid while the writers work out this discrepancy for themselves. When everything is resolved, what will those who were made to suffer for nothing get? Then again, does that mean the writers should do nothing on their own behalf when they're obviously being undercut by their corporate superiors? What alternatives are there?
I don't know how I would suggest getting involved. However, if entertainment on the internet were explicitly at stake, I'd fight like a rabid wolverine.

You're dumb. Most television writers make 60-80 thousand a year. That's normal person money. And once more, you're dumb
i know wut we can do
1. find a desolate island
2. PARTAAAAY!!!!
..... im not crazy
I do not sapport the writers guild strike. I am against it!
1. Most tv shows are redundant and have the same story plot over and over.
2. Any good shows wont be around again for a while. Heroes will stop.
After this i am never saporting or helping a writer ever again. In no way how. i hope they rot in hell
Well, it's not really the writers striking; it's the evil unions making them do so.
If you ever become a writer, do not join a union!
oooo yea i heard about that, its going on im my neigborhood :( apperently local lybrarys support it or something because the one i went to was closed and there were a lot of protesters and camara crew out there.

But then you're paid less and can be fired without any protection. Those who strike who didn't want to strike, have the assurance that their comrades would do the same for them.
I think we should do the collab or something, that would definitely show our support.
less writers = i love new york 3 & a shot of love w/ Tila Tequila... its not all bad newz.
None
Call me a socialist, but I think it's criminal what these employers have been doing to these writers. Creativity is taken for granted these days. This strike should prove to be a nice wake up call.
And for those of you who are saying the writers should shut up and get back to work, shut up and make me more flash for free.
I'd love to see a collab. If I had any talent with flash then I'd make something. =/

Take their jobs while we have a chance?
I really don't feel that much sympathy for the writers. They get paid to write stuff, and there are lots of writers out there who get no recognition at all despite their great talents. Also, I doubt it will affect my part of the world much. Sure, famous TV shows might dissapear, but I never watch TV anyway.
