I'd probably just be a fourm mod, but I wouldn't mind helping out with icons or reviews as well. I come on (this will be UK times) from about 3:45pm to appoximately about 10:30pm from mondays to thursdays.

On fridays, I start from 3:45pm but stay on until around midnight. On weekends, I get on from as late as mid-day and depending what I am doing that day, I can stay on until around midnight. I spend most of it on NewGrounds until I get bored (or banned).

It has been my DREAM since a long time ago to be a forum mod. I am a truly good hearted person, and i act very mature, I dont flame, spam, or do anything to get in trouble on the internet. If given the chance, i could be the next Denvish, i PROMISE YOU.

My hours on NG are usually almost ALL DAY on weekends and from 5:00pm-9:00pm on weekdays. NO JOKE. I love NG, and I think I could really mean something to it.

Also I think that I could probably be a very useful review mod, since I love to read other peoples reviews.

If I were to be considered for a mod position I'd prefer to be a forum Mod as that is where I spend the majority of my time on Newgrounds.

As I'm a British user I'm not on a lot during the "Rush hour" when the majority of users are on, during weekdays at least, but I do spend a good few hours a day on and off the forums so when I am around, any time between 4-10 pm (GMT) normally, though later on weekends, I'd be able to catch most the spam and stuff that occurs during the times I'm around.

I tend to frequent Clubs and Crews, General and I lurk in politics. As Clubs and Crews is the main area I post in that's where I'd probably end up doing most of my moderating, and as that's the one area which seems to have the least mods frequenting it I'd be able to make the lives of ramagi and the few mods who do patrol C and C a bit easier as it would mean les shit for them to deal with.

Whether or not I'd make a good mod? I dunno, I'd like to think I would, I'm not the sort of person who makes special allowances for people just because I'm friendly with them or they are well known so I'd be fairly even handed in any bans and punishments I'd inevitably end up handing out.

I consider myself a good user and try to stick within the rules of the forum, which means I'd be a good role model so to speak for other users to look up to etc.

So...yeah. That's about it I suppose.

I'd be a forum mod, but that would only ever happen in my wildest dreams.
I don't think any of the mods would actually know who I am, and I don't think I'd be the best role model to easily influenced users.
I can spend a moderate amount of time on here, between 3 and 7 most weeknights I'd say (10am-2pm NG Time), and I can spot spam when I see it. Most of the time.

I get on NG at about 12-ish, and i know what is good and what is not here at the BBS, and i'd get my name in green! I like Green!

Seriously, we need more european mods. I mean, mods that are active during the actie hours of the GMt, GMT+ timezones. Lots of users are online at the time, but only few mods (Sarai for one).

Doesn't have to be me, just more people to stop the endless "Chavs Suck" (ok, I heard they do, now move along) topics.

I'd quite fancy being a review mod, as I may not have the best reviews myself, but I can sure pick up on reviews that are complete and utter trash, I mean, looking through the Rages gift to you thread, it's quite obvious that some people just don't get that reviews are there to help users improve their flash, not to tell them how terrible it is.
Also, BBS mod would be quite fun.

I think I'd be best suited as a review mod. I'm on Newgrounds just about every day and head straight for the under judgement submissions. I like the idea of trying to clean up the Portal by starting with the newest submissions first...they flood in so quickly and someone's got to do it. Besides, it seems that as it stands right now, it takes a long time before abusive reviews get deleted and you need some help!

My second choice would be as an icon mod. Just another way to help clean up and contibute.

I usually lurk through the forums just to keep an eye on what's going on. Usually I don't get involved, as you can see by my post count. But I am always watching and keeping up with the news, updates and rules.

I'm a professional Flash designer / animator and work full time, so I have responsibilities, but I can easily fit Newgrounds into my schedule in the early through late evening. I'm also a night owl and am usually up until 2:30am. So evenings, primetime website rush hour works for me.

I've been on Newgrounds for 3 years now and I've always wanted to contribute in some way with the site maintenence. If Tom Fulp still lived in Atlanta, I'd be banging on his door, asking for opportunities to get involved with NG. I'd love to help in any way! It's not a power thing. It's a respect for this community and the NG Staff!

I've been with the site for well over two years. I have 1,500+ posts and I want to give something back I've spent so much time on.

I'd like to think I'm a pretty intelligent poster too.

And I hate reading stupid reviews for audio/flash.

I'd like to become a forum mod. I've been around long enough, and I know this forum like the back of my hand. I tend to lurk in General, C&C, and Wi/Ht. I'm usually on at 4, 6, or 9 PM in my time. If I decide to stay home for the day, I might get online in the "early hours" when barely anyone is online.

Why do I have a slight feeling of skepticism about the legitimacy of this thread? I can't imagine how you can't think of a list of nominations for the mod team, especially when we have a lot of good users here. Personally, I think we have enough mods as is.

the last mods were easy to predict, theyre those people who waste their free time or whatever in the chat room all day.or acquaintances/friends of moderators. also its more like a popularity contest to become moderator, and basically anyone who posts here is a loser. i mean name one cool person you know who doesnt just use the computer to talk to other cool people on msn messenger. so this place is like the opposite of a user's real life. so yeah i wont compare real life cops to internet cops ill just like to see more people who enjoy helping people out etc. become a moderator

I think I'd make a good review mod because I can recognize the abusive ones within seconds. However, I don't instantly feel like going on a murderous romp just because of it, so I can give fair length bans.

I'm usually on from between 4:00PM and 19:00PM (aprox) GMT standard so I'll be able to get a look at a large bulk of the reviews that come through. However I spend most of the time in the flash portal, so I suppose I'd have to work on visiting the audio portal a bit more.

I would like to be a review mod, I'd obviously also like to be forum mod but I'd prefer review mod.

I feel that I'd be a good enough mod because I've taken the time to read through the rules on reviewing several times over just to make sure I had them right.
I've even spent hours of my time to go through pages and pages of reviews to reach Deity.
I even once did about 15 hours of flagging in about 5 days for it.
That does sound that I'm just doing this to get th stat but I assure you I'm not.

At times if I was unsure whether a review was abusive or not I'd even stop to check the rules and then judge whether the review is apropriate or not.
I know that I've mentioned the rules twice in a few lines but thats to get across that I know the rules well.

I'm usually on between 5 PM (GMT 0) to 10 PM on weekdays and on weekends I spend from around 10 AM (GMT 0) to midday.
I'd normally spend about 2 or 3 hours on at a time.

Forum mod. Oh I would love to be a forum mod locking bad topics, banning those who deserve it.

I'd probably want to be a forum mod, ~I live in england and I'm usually on after school, about 4:30 GMT time, and thats late at night on the server time, sometimes around 5AM-ish, so I could help lock the late night spam topics or something. I don't see what all the fuss is about sometimes, sure, you get to ban people annoying you but that's it really. Yeah, I would be willing to prowl the topics from about 4:30-10 PM on weekdays and even longer on weekends.

If i did have the choice to be a moderator on Newgrounds than i would probably choose to be a Forum Moderator. This is only because i dont really take too much interest in any other of the positions, well i dont mind reviewing flash on Newgrounds. Im on Newgrounds in a lot of my spare time, when im not at school or out with mates, if the position was given to me than i would be on Newgrounds even more i suspect helping to ban members who are not going by the rules of the forums and using inappropriate behaviour around the forums. I hate it when i see someone spamming around the forums but there is no mod online, i have to put up with the abuse he is giving to other people. I have a lot of respect for Newgrounds, for what its done in the past, and how it connects people. If i did have the position for a mod here then i would not think twice about taking it. Thanks.
