This is a club dedicated to the upcoming game Spore. If you dont know about the game click on my Sig Pic, and also i shall give you a breafing:
Spore is going to be released on PC at may in 2007, costing £30 and you start off a microscop organisam and eat others, then you choose how you evolve and design you own creature you eventually go on land,eat and mate and of course cgoose how to evolve then you make a tribe, then your own civilisation having war with other civilisations and finally you go in a psace ship and try to rule the galaxy. below is an example of one creature that a designer of Spore made.

I think it looks pretty cool, but I agree with the above guy, we should wait to trade ideas on our civilization instead of thinking what it will be like. Cool game, though

Everyone can join, and personally i think its more fun to be on the land, because you can buil better weponry to have wars with when you reach the civilisationg stage!

Not neccecarily, my friend showed me an amphibious race he created. They were inferior on water and land compared to races suited to those environments alone. So he would attack from the water against land and vice-versa. He almost always won!

How did he do that? Spore isnt out yet! Anyway i think it would be a little faster to be able to travel in space if you went on land, because you could see other civilisations and become the dominant species faster, then you get to travel in a space ship!

Im going with Insects.

I know, he had his tribe live near and interact with water for a long time and they eventually became amphibians to suit thier dual environments. Remember, it is just a beta, so it may or may not be changed in the final.

Wait a second, you get to choose how your creatures evolve. Although there is one problem with Spore. The microscopic level does look a bit dull....

Theres two ways. You can program your creatures how to evolve, or you can let them evolve to suit thier conditions. My friend did the latter.

Yes there will be an X box version but it will come out WAY later than the PC and a bit later than the PS3

Yes but its easier to advance if you go on land.
