I was gonna get a 37" flat screen for my room. Around the £400/£500 mark. I watch a lot of films and play a fair few games so it's probably worth it. Even if i do have a big, bulky 32" at the minute. I refuse to let myself buy GTA tomorrow until i've wrote my Wuthering Heights essay. Gonna be a pain in the ass, even moreso because i've yet to read the book.

For 300 you get a PS3 and GTA4
For 160 you get a Xbox360 and GTA4

BUT friends be forwarned you may end up like this poor soul

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NRb_aUvzPt U&

Xboxes fail too much I consider the PS3 a worthwhile investment that will last over 10 years. Hell the PS2 has lasted me since 2000 and I only needed to change the laser one time at no cost since I pulled the replacment from one somebody was throwing out :)

I constantly hear people complain about 360's breaking, yet not a damn things happened to mine. Not one, even small problem. Guess i'm just lucky.

Sounds like an idea. I liked it when I was there (went to Brussels) a couple of years ago (only went for the day though).

Ok so I think my mp3 player crashed. I'm thinking about getting a new one but I need one that has playsforsure and wma compatibility since most of my mp3s are playsforsure. I know ipod is out :/ Any ideas?

ipods don't do playsforsure and windows media files, do they?

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows media/playsforsure so it's possible that if ipod converts wmas that they'll play playsforsure. I just reread the player requirements and most of my mp3s aren't compatible with ipod or zune: http://www.spiralfrog.com/pages/support.

Nevermind! All I had to do was run a scan disk on my mp3 player (had to find the manual) and the error went away. The error was about not having access to the file (the digital signature or whatever that gives rights to use the file). So I'm set and don't need to spend $ to buy a new one :D

Why resist? Show him the error of their way for the benifit of your class. Then send us pics of their reaction when your teacher makes them do their website projects with CSS and DIVS instead of good ol' easy tables ^_^

I'm completley fucked up in ICT at the minute.
Basically i've got tonight to try and do as much work as humanly possible. In all fairness it's not that much, but damn, it feels like it.

So... One thing i'm stuck on. I need to update a peice of hardware, screenshot me doing it, explain it, bla, bla, bla.
Only thing is, as far as i can tell, none of my hardware needs updating?
I'm fucking useless when it comes to this side of computers?

So... hardware updates? Anyone got any simple answers for something I can do?
Is there a website I can install a small hardware update from?

GARGH!

You unscrew it, disconnect the two cables on the back, take it out, take another one, put it in, connect the cables again, screw it back on.

Not very hard :/

I'm at Denver International Airport right now. I'm about an hour and a half early for the boarding of my flight to Nashville. I'm bored. Good thing there's free WiFi.

Blergh. I've just had a 5 hour Graphic Design exam, and it got delayed a bit so I was in there longer and late coming out again. Plus I have another one tomorrow for Art and I really don't know what I'm going to do in it. Shoot me now?
