Just a note for the Programming regulars: if you see another account posting an advertisement about ZelloMesh.com, please notify me - so I can deal with it.
It is becoming very annoying, especially when they (he) uses multiple alternate accounts to continuing promoting it.

Anyway, enough mod talk for me; how have you all been doing? :)

I see what they did, that plan is usually $50/mo but for a short period it will be $5/mo.

Hrmm, this sucks. I download the Flash CS3 trial to check it out, but Adobe served me the Mac version (yes, I did select Windows) =(

Oh well, just school bandwidth wasted.

There's still something wrong there though! They can't just knock $45 off of the price just like that, even if it is a sale.

I fucking love scones. Mind they can't have anything in, like currents or whatever-the-fuck they're calleds. Still, they are lovely, warm with a smidgen of butter.

Me too, and yeah I hate them with raisins/currents. It's a consipracy against us I think so we stop eating them. I had mine freshly baked with strawberry jam and clotted cream. That's the stuff :D

Yet another day where I accomplished so much! I added exactly ONE line to my final assignment :D It's about 70% done now, and due in 2 weeks. Not forgetting the whole description that has to be added to it and all :(

I figure your average punter is not going to use that much bandwidth a month - so there may be overselling going on there.

lol you're farther than me on my big assignment! I have about 3 pages (out of 20-22) and I really wanted to have it done this week so that I can print and revise, so that I have the weekend to relax. I was going to do other assignments today but this afternoon got nuts with orders.

Odd. It doesn't show up for me. Every other favicon on other sites does though.

Happens from time to time if you don't clear your cache in a while.

I've been using Adblock Plus to clean up NG a bit. Eliminated tons of images, and it's looking so much cleaner now :P (except for the footer, it came out ugly)

I don't agree with such utilities - I expect the people responsible for the design/advertising should try and balance the advertising content on the site(s) they manage, obviously there are instances where ads can be too heavy but Newgrounds has a good balance.

And while I might not click the 1,000 ads I see every month sometimes there's good advertising which can be relevant to me (this is general, not just NG) - if I blocked such things I'd never see them.

While Newgrounds is very heavy, tables, javascript/css embedded into pages so therefore not cached etc I still visit here because the content is very good - and I consider advertising part of the content.

The redesign will fix such issues I'm told.

Whether we'll see it I don't know...

Tau'ri

get some comments?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2QheciKSes

little gameplay video from it made after physics on player was added and key input given.
so far the source code including all custom stuff ive wrote, and the cg files is about 2750 lines

player can use WASD to move it aorund, and another two keys that will be changed, to apply forces to compress it into the gorund, and expand it off of the ground to make it jump.

only libraries used are libjpeg, and oGL/CG/GLUT and the standard C++ library

Went to a friends house last night because his parents were away. It was well funny, but all the girls went home really early so it was like wtf. It was a good laugh though, we stayed up playing late night PS2 (San Andreas :)), drinking, eating pizza then me and a friend walked down the road with some Frosties and left a big trail for like a mile down the road before we followed it back.

Good times haha.

I'm absolutetly shattered gonna go to bed in a bit I think!

It looks nice :) Do you plan on making some sort of game out of it or something?

WASD? I hope, if you'll ever release it, you'll give the option to change that. I utterly despise any game that only allows the use of WASD, my fingers have to be twisted in an odd way for that on my keyboard.

Yes I use Azerty

I'm going to a car race at a local track (upstate) to watch the Super Modified race :D It's been a couple of years, so it should be a nice night! Especially because I'm gonna be working on my paper most of the day since I stopped working on it last weekend, whoops!

lol not really because I was supposed to work on it all throughout this week, it didn't happen. I barely did my assignments for next week too, due to problems with my internet here @ home while I was at work. So I didn't really procrastinate but I was supposed to have at least half of it done this week and well, I'm almost finished with page 6, basically because my research is going very slowly. I only need 17 more sources out of 25 which is starting to cause problems too :/ So it's not really procrastination, it's more of getting the energy to do it in this heat and making sure that my computer doesn't overheat (I put a fan on the floor just to increase the airflow because I have no ac in here yet).
