I just started Playing my OLD FF8 game and Im on the beginning of Disk 4 fighting Sorcerer Adel and Ive tried and tried, gone to train, did this AND that, I cant seem to beat her/him (?)! Either he/she kills me or I kill Rinoa (I named her Tifa(YAY for FF7)) Any tips?

I love ff through and through, I've got 6,7,8,10 and v. soon 10 part 2.
What number member am I?

i was stuck on that part to...so i will help you.

if you use the folowing things corect,this fight will be eazy!

first,be sure that you cast "regen" on rinoa,so you don't have to think about healing her in the fight itelf.

RULE NR.1
NEVER use "all" hitting attacks!(GF,meteor...)
if you use those,rinoa will be dead in no time,and you don't want that,right?

in that fight,i wold take Zell,sqaule and irvine with me.
they have multi hitting attacks,but i wont use sqaul's limit:the final hit is un-controlebel (one "lion heart" on rinoa,and it's game over.)
first,use meltdoun on adel,that will bring her gard doun realy good!
let one use sereberus so that cast3 (triple) can be used.
and carbuncle,you don't have to use it,but be sure you wont use cure after that!
shel and protect are usefull in this battle,so i advise you to use that!
use HIGH level majic,the rest will be to weak to actuly do somthing. becuse of triple is cast,you can use 3 spels at the same time!

if you got aura from syther before this battle,the fight will be nothing at all if you cast it on Zell and irvine.

and another thing,if you use irvine,use "qwick shot"(fast ammo).
it won't be so strong like pulse ammo,but becuse of the meltdoun,it will take out 4000 with evry shot,and if you are realy fast,you can shoot like 25 times.

4.000 X 25 =100.000

that will take her doun realy fast...

iv been playin ff for yeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaars iv even got anthology and i snes emulator wid all the origanals on (including crono trigger). And i got ffx-2 before it came out (relese date: 20th i got on 19th)

what do u all think of the dressphere system in ffx-2? i really like it, but sometimes a bit hard to build up.
i just love the trigger happy move which relys on how fast WE are (my record is 13 shots on trigger happy lvl 2)
Im stuck in zanarkand against the creature guarding the sphere, i useually get rikku in songstress doing darkness dance, paine warrior and yuna gunner but switching. Any tips? iv done the besaid island and the bikanel island

matthias_gothias-I agree that it's the best FF game yet. But I can't say it's the best game Square put out. But in my opinion the best FF definatly.
