well you can always try a different personality. for instance, lets say that your normal self is really outgoing, and kind. but that doesn't work on the girl for some reason, you should try being Emo-ish. don't talk, don't raise your hand in class, and whatever you do, do not aknowledge (i think i spelled that wrong) her existence.
if being yourself doesn't work try other people, like at camp one week i was my normal self, and the next week i was one of those "lost in thought, silent" types. the latter worked way better.
