I had mine taken out going on 3 years ago. It went fine, no complications :) Just be gentle with yourself and don't overdo it.

You'll be ok! I had that one done in like 2013.
It's laproscopic and the scars are very tiny. I have 3, but I can hardly see them anymore.
I only needed pain meds for a few days.
I had one crazy ass friend who went to the gym the next day after having hers out, and a different friend who went by the daiquiri place on the way home. 😄
I wasn't quite that resilient, It took me like a week to feel back to normal.
Wear some sundresses so nothing is on your stomach and you'll be ok!❤️

Aside from minor surgeries from dentists and oral surgeons, a urologist gave me general anesthesia so I could have of my balls put back in my nutsack. This is known as a unilateral orchiopexy and happened in 1998.
I also had a neurosurgeon put me under in December 2019 to have a vagus nerve stimulator put in me. 9 months later, an orthopedic surgeon put me under in to re-stabilize my right shoulder by way of a distal tibial allograft.
I've also had a bunch of twilight sedations in the ER because I dislocated my shoulder far too many times.
I suppose you could say that yes, I've been put under the knife my fair share of times.
