Ok. But the ways people bring flash back though is stupidly complicated.
This is cool! I used to be a huge ActionScript 2.0 nutjob back in 2010-2013. I feel like this is my chance to come back and make something once again. Thinking of also helping people with AS 2.0 questions on Game Development forum. But the forum veterans already got the latter part covered.

Where can I get Actionscript 2? This part is a little vague, can anyone help me out?
yeah I need to know
The answer is: Flash Pro CS6. Download it, it has everything you need to make flash games.

To create a game with AS2 you have to use an old version of Flash; Macromedia Flash 6 and Flash 8 are both good ones, and Adobe Flash CS3-5.5 are also fine. The software is hard to get now because Adobe wants people to use Animate (formerly Flash) with a Creative Cloud subscription but Animate doesn't have support for AS2, so you NEED to use old Flash software.
Yeah the person I'm working with doesn't have an old copy, so I'm having to jump through hoops to get vector swfs published in Animate into the library and rip the frames into new movieclips for AS2.... It's awkward.

You should learn flash. You can do lots of cool things with it.
For people who still need to access flash content they can use flash browser, from flash.pm. ( I am mentioning the project on GitHub ) It is chromium based browser with integrated flash player.
Y'know, NG pals? I'd really like to remake Pico's World.
So, in April 1st, we release the remake of the hubworld with 2 games built in there. Darnell Plays with Fire (Pyro 101) and Nene's Interactive Suicide.
Then, in July 25th, we can release our remake for Pico's School. In October 29th we could release a remake for U.F.A. And in December 30th, we can update the hub to add our remastered Pico vs. Bear.
And in July 6th, 2023, we can unveal our Pico vs. Überkids remake. What do you think about it?
