After bragging about the A plus job he did on past hurricanes, days leading up to the expected landfall of Hurricane Florence on the Carolina shores, he's now claiming a conspiracy that the revised numbers of 3,000 deaths in Puerto Rico is to make him look bad.

we have something called juries. juries are selected from people from the public. and try as they might, they cant remove public opinion from them.

A valid point I'll half-concede on. On the other hand, juries don't factor in until their is a conviction and fair trial, and even then the only opinions that will matter is that of the jury.

Just sayin', there is a perk to waiting this sort of thing out until it's done playing out on both side, here, rather than looking at the minds of the masses everyday, since their opinions don't matter (outside of the jury, of course).

IIRC any poor press he gets on that front it's because the press believes it's actually alchohol when he claims he swore off of it. That's pretty lame for the media to focus on either way, though.

Heh, yeah, the room snickered like a bunch of middle school jocks, but they clammed up real quick. First he started on Venezuela, then socialism, then the UN-elected tyrants subverting the sovereignty of democratic nations, destabilizing the Middle East, tossing handouts to "refugees," aka economic migrants who should logically have been taken in by surrounding nations, not imported to Europe to form a unified voting bloc at the expense of the tax payer -- coddling those countries whose citizens are oppressed by militant theocracies, and/or whose once self-sufficient middle class are or will soon be lining up for toilet paper. Probably his best speech yet.

And it's true, the Trump administration has accomplished in a year the complete trashing of Obama's executive failures going on a decade -- still going on behind the scenes, hahaha. Of course, you can't help but do better following the least fiscally responsible, most corrupt, war mongering president in history. :P

Like anyone cares about what the UN thinks it's a bigger failure than Trumps policy historically speaking. When shit hits the fan no one goes to the UN they go to the US. Just look at any UN program and theres always fuck ups when it comes to corruption or incompetency.

That's what happens when you've got a whole bunch of unaccountable schmucks meeting up to vote on however the majority wants to manipulate the minority. It's a joke. UN bitches about human rights, takes the biggest human rights violators past and present and showers them with presents, and uses their "votes" to hammer other nations into their idea of Marxist utopia. I'd be thrilled if we ditched the UN. Nothing but a palm greasing circle jerk.

Oh, and none of the problems they claim they're trying to fix ever get solved. It's just a stepping stone to more destabilization, more turmoil, more tyranny.

You might want to hold off on trying to lick Trump's ass as fast as you can, because he'll just makes you look like an idiot when you try to lick it in the wrong direction when he makes up excuses. Trump claims he ‘meant to be laughed at’ by world leaders at UN General Assembly :P

No, we're making it pretty clear the root of the problem lies in both sides being led by teetotallers. None of them can bring peace.

Now that I think about it: Lots of gaffes could have been avoided by following a custom of my ancestors (speaking 2000 years ago here): They would debate every important issue once drunk and once sober, and only if it seemed like a good idea both times, they would follow through with it.

I don't think there is a wrong way to lick ass, but coming from the guy who can't help but rub everyone the wrong way, suppose you could try.

when he makes up excuses. Trump claims he ‘meant to be laughed at’ by world leaders at UN General Assembly :P

Hahaha, who's the fool here? One hand, Trump was heckled by a bunch of dictatorial cucks in front of millions and handled it gracefully, something Trump never does according to the left, then proceeded to publicly demolish their approach to government and foreign policy for what it is, socialist bunk. He came out of that engagement looking sterling, compared to the dismissive, holier than thou UN cabal.

It's a speech, and speeches are planned out beforehand, but let's not forget that the Nazi slur constantly hurled at him and his base stands for National Socialism -- socialism already having turned one of the richest nations in South America into a shithole where most of the population is lining up for toilet paper. If leftist Californication has its way, not only will you be rationing your water (check), carrying straws out on your dates (check), and hiding your Bibles lest they be confiscated for hate speech (just slap a "Quran" book sleeve on; no questions asked), but I'm sure toilet paper will at some point become illegal too. LOL.

Or perhaps it will remain legal but highly taxed. Maybe they'll require you to install bidets in your homes -- but those use water, so better not poop, bathe, or wash clothes in the same day... Let me stop before I give them any ideas.

Cali taxpayers already foot the bill for "free" drug needles to all the heroin addicts it aids and abets with state-funded drugstops, where they can shoot up "safely." Said needles are discarded all over the streets, used, for children to play with, and may or may not be mingled with shit if you're in San Fran. Meanwhile socialism is doing what socialism does, running all the business out of town, taxing citizens to death so that more and more become dependent on her "benefits," and ultimately creating more homeless.

Please, harp on the speech some more, but you know this is exactly what Trump is talking about, and it galvanizes his base all the more because it's true. Now, was he setting himself up for preschool ridicule? I don't really care one way or the other. Trump can make a fool of himself all day long and still pillory the establishment media for what they are, the enemies of free speech, rational thought, and democracy.

On the other hand, Trump has an egotistical streak, but even if he's lying, it still makes the left look stupid, because you're admitting you gave him a tactical advantage. Who could have thought, a president like Trump being mocked at the UN assembly? Honestly, no president since Lincoln has been the object of so much open scorn, lol -- and now you're whining how he used your own hateful prejudices to call your base out on its socialist utopian quackery.

That's another reason why the GOP needs to lose the house, their total abuse of holding investigations for purely political reasons. They spent over 4 years investigating Benghazi, longer than the investigation into 9-11 and the Iraq war, leaking selected material to the press to promote some partisan narrative. Then you had Nunes who was actually working with the White House to undermine investigation against the Trump administration, and releasing solo partisan reports that didn't have the approval of the rest of the committee.

This is just another partisan hit job in a long history of abuse by House GOP who are openly abusing their power in desperation to find anything against their political opponents to hold onto their own power.

Mexico was very insistent on it, and I don't think the Trump administration wanted to scuttle the progress made with them in an important election year to stiff Canada.

As predicted, Trump need to blame something/someone other than himself, has put the fed in his cross-hairs over the 800 plunge in the DOW. From what I have gathered, no one seems to be sure what caused stocks to plunge so much in such a short time. The last time this happened was a few months ago over fears in the rise in inflation rates due to modest, but unexpected, rise in the average worker wages. The only thing I can think of is the uncertainty over the trade wars with China, and shareholders getting antsy over a possible recession that comes every decade which is about due.

We'll see if this continues.

Former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder is in the news. saying to kick Republicans and Trump (Metaphorically because some people don't understand the concept of them) when their down so its hurts to fight in the upcoming midterms and election in 2020 against Trump and the GOP, there's even talk about him running in 2020 but it seems unlikely since he's tied to the ATF Operation Fast and Furious for those of you who don't know it was an ATF operation that allowed Mexican Cartel members illegal here in the US to straw purchase firearms and smuggle them back into Mexico which led to the deaths of hundreds in Mexico by Cartel violence.
then theres the fact he was held in Contempt of Congress for with holding documents related to the operation, so I highly doubt he'll be running especially with a fractured democratic party known for pulling shenanigans in their own primaries against candidates they don't want like progressives and socialists, and against a somewhat united Republican Party with Trump at the head with the majority in all branches of government its going to be a hard sell.

Oh hey, you played it (kind of) straight, cool. Small correction: he's saying if they fight dirty, you fight dirtier.

Yeah, he's really not a good choice for Democrats to fall in line for; I both think he'll give a presidential run a shot and much like Jeb(!) he'll fall by the wayside pretty quick. As far as the quote is concerned... well, yeah, he's got the concept right: if the Republicans are going to fight dirty, you shouldn't play nice in response - you'll just get steamrolled.

Eric Holder won't follow his own advice for sure, though, so he can piss off.

Trump threatens "severe punishment" for Saudi Arabia if they killed Journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, inside Istanbul consulate. Later, then remembered, he can't do much, since doing anything against them would punish the billion dollar arms deal he made with that country. Can't have that. So many red lines he makes, then forgets about, or downplays.

Its hilarious how trump talks up standing up to iran when working with them would of helped us keep the saudis in check.

They both have regular human rights abuses, but i guess these boycotts help make our people out to be "foreign policy hawks" despite how little they actually strengthen us.
