What's inside: oneshot wavs of Meinl, Dream, Ufip, and brandless/unknown cymbals in various velocities and articulations (bell, crash, choke, mute), effect cymbals (FX bell, prototype stack, china, crasher hats), Nu Metal snares, toms, 2 kicks, and even cardboard boxes and tape, because why not!

All but a few of those samples are heard in this demo, which is literally 3 vital patches and the TMS pack.

Minimal to no layering has been applied, so you can hear the samples MOSTLY in isolation. The complex drum break, for example, is composed of oneshots of combination hits from the combos folder. All other samples, except rolls, are single articulations!

How it was made: Samples were taken from live recordings, mixed, and edited in RX 7 using frequency selection to remove noise, extend releases, or even create new round robins from overlapping hits using release tails from known cymbals.

I chose this method because I CRAVE SUSTAIN, and the samples I was chopping for myself were too short! If you're looking for a specific cymbal or would like to contribute samples, get at me here or on Discord. Same username ;)

Usage limitations: none except you can't redistribute the pack in whole or part, and if you use it commercially, please attribute so folks know where to find these babies.

Keep your eyes peeled for more producer freebies on my userpage. I'll be dropping Februarylist 2024 when I got it formatted all pretty. This bad boi was supposed to be released later, but I said screw it, and now I got some editing to do.

I'll release future new cymbals as single drops since that'll probably be easier to organize and play with :)
