If you missed it, check out the news of our partnership with OpenAI! Game devs in particular will want to check that out.

Also note, we put Pixel Day on the calendar for January 21st, 2017! Pixel Day is a celebration of pixel art and you can participate by making original pixel art, animation, games or chiptunes. Emphasis on original; Mario sprites set to Mario music are not invited to the party.

Thank you everyone who participated in November!

Our holiday site skin is in the works, sorry but I got a late start with commissioning that one.

The next noticeable site update will be the NG front page, which will fall in line under our new layout. Then we get to move on to stuff like view pages, user pages, forums and PMs! We're also excited to bring drag and drop to dumping grounds and the project system.

Wow, it is awesome to be in the top five movies of November. Thanks for all who voted, it really is a huge push to do more work.

Congrats to the winners! Can't wait to see what the next update looks like. I know they don't change too much of the user experience itself, but it's always fun to see.

I'm starting to get the impression that that guy makes more money from NG than Tom does.

The bard was not forgotten! Well, at #17 in 'Games', it sort of was, but THANK YOU to all who Don't Forget the Bard!

Someone tell me that OpenAI participated in Future Fragments. I'd love to see the results of that.

Imagining it's like the matrix, where the researchers just look at the code. "This bit over here complements the sprite work but says 'Really? Tying CGs to loss? What is this, 2007?'"

Speaking of which, anyone who liked that should check out Kurovadis, which is amazing.

Frog Fable is number 1 this month in my heart, though. Legit fun, challenging, mechanically fast-paced, what more could you want?

Holy crap, I can't believe we got voted #1, seriously flattered! The outpouring of reviews on the gameplay/storyline for the game has really helped a lot for us knowing whether we're going down the right path with the game too, and speaking of data...

We actually did submit it to OpenAI!

A hentai game as Top Game of the month! What a surprise! :D Was dubious as to if I should vote for that or not considering the 'please don't vote for adult stuff' thing on that voting page, but it was good (don't recall if I actually did vote or not, though happy it got the spot). And great stuff in the list overall! Impressive Claymation too @djavh !

Congrats to all!

About the update: I thought the main page would be saved for last. Bound to be some big changes there. Exciting times.

Congrats! I'm actually thinking I might submit an adult game to the pixel art competition because of your win ...
