Why. Yes.
Drew a female with absolutely 0 reference, I wonder if any part of the body looks wrong or if something needs fixing, what do you think?

Pretty good job overall.
Impressive that you indicated some sort of boob stretch when an arm is lifted. I tend to forget about it myself from time to time.
Biggest gripe I have is that her left eye is melting and needs to be placed a bit more properly.

Oh wow, thanks for doing this man. I actually almost forgot to do the boob stretch, but realized before it was too late. Yeah it seems the problems are mostly in the face, the eye as you say, and the ear seems like it's gonna fall from the head... I may need to work on my faces a bit more. Also your drawing makes me realize that I may need to concentrate more on describing the forms, I think I tend to concentrate too much on the contours, making it look too flat. Anyway, thanks a lot man, I'm glad that it doesn't seem to have too many mistakes haha
I should get deeper into anatomical studies I think - I really don't enjoy it but it's good to step out of ones comfort zones right? It would certainly help when doing stuff from imagination
Really busy with my new job, only had time for traditional sketches and haven't been able to scan them in. Here's some simple character designs.
Been practicing drawing guys torsos since I have a problem with them
any of you guis don't happen to know anything about wire sculptures?

What do you need to know? What sort of wire sculpures? I've done a bit.

I don't really know what I'm doing..
We were tasked to draw a design in which we will make a wire sculpture out of.
Since I can't think of anything except something I want a key chain for.. one design I made was a simple scarecrow.
My prof kinda told me I was making it hard for myself so he chose the scarecrow design I made and also tasked to do the head..
So for the crudely drawn drawing.
1st attempt was kinda making 7 rings and support it with 2 wires going over them to create a somewhat onion shape.
I use small thing wires to hold the rings in place but problem was it was still moving around.
But I kinda made it stable but the next problem was I have no idea how to put the facial features.
So I scrap that and tried something new. Which is super simple for now and kinda feels like another failed attempt..
Help? T^T
oh and might as well share this.
Still life yey.
btw, the wire sculpting thing is actually fun..
buut, the fact I have to make it look good, get graded by it, and also pressured to get a passing score kinda makes it more stressful.. I really need help.. :c
Some feet without reference, me and some friends are planning to spend the week doing feet studies, so this is kinda like a control group, to see if I improve by the end of the week. Next week we'll move on to legs, then torso, etc...
Feet study from imagination, Week of feet starts today with Daker.
Day 1 living among feet, getting more familiar with their general structure, toes are hard. Spent more time looking at anatomy references than drawing, hopefully tomorrow I'll do more.

Here's a version that I "fixed". Please take it with a grain of salt, however since I am not too good at drawing muscles either.
You need to do more muscle studies because trying to draw it from imagination without much experience is gonna make it peculiar. It's also very difficult.

That's a nice attempt, and I think that's quite similar to @Cairo's approach in another thread.
@johnny2pop, I think you're worried about your rough linework and shading, but these two guys have shown what you can achieve just by working from a base of really standard 3D shapes, then fleshing it out.
I've found this picture of a knight that you could try referencing, just so you have a better feel of proportions and thinking about 3D shapes you can use as a starting point (sausages for limbs, bucket for head, trapezoid for chest, etc). Then you could attempt to draw your own character in a similar pose.
