The BBS seems to have more of a community feel than many other forums I've been to and it's certainly more active than many forums. It's mostly just the users that make the BBS a place I want to keep coming back to, I've participated in or read many discussions on here which I find interesting or funny and that all has to do with the posts of other users. Of course, there are plenty of users that I could do without, but the users that make enjoyable posts completely cancel them out and make the BBS worth posting on.
Plus, the rules aren't so strict that they limit the quality of posts and many discussions I've enjoyed participating in on here are things that I couldn't have a discussion about with friends irl because they lack interest in some of those subjects which I enjoy discussing.
