Hey, me and my buddies were saying that the meet should REALLY be a week later considering it'll be the opening of the Montreal Jazz Festival, one of the biggest jazz festivals in the world, with a crap tone of free shows and Lionel Richie as the opening show.

Jazz fest wasn't an issue last year. We even passed by on the way to the bar. At worse, I will recreate the experience for you and your friends with my soulful voice and beer I will buy you guys. I hope you like Justin Bieber sung with the voice of Isaac Hayes.

I don't think that's such a good idea, especially seeing how English speaking people will be treated in the street by drunken nationalist/separatists (which take this day very seriously)...

And now I've had that whole "event ruining" thing happen to me...kind of. A good friend of mine is getting married around that time and I'm going to be there no matter what. Not going to completely rule out showing up if something changes, but chances are a lot lower now because of it.

Don't worry about separatists...there aint so many of them near montreal...and IF we were to meet some, they're not douchebags and they don't loath english speaking people, they just like to get drunk and party and have fun with whoever they meet...we're not in the 70's anymore...

The funny thing is it's been two years that I get to the Montreal Meet-up, and I'm a separatist. Seriously, 2 things: 1, it's a meet-up for fun, not for talking about politics and beating the shit out of everybody (except when it's a drunk fight). 2: IF it comes that somebody want to talk about politics, I have more respect for a canadian that respect my opinion than a separatist that just bullshit around.
