Well, after much debating, my crew decided to go to Mont Royale Park. We went the wrong way and decided to get groceries instead. We are now making dinner.

We might go to the Bio Dome early-ish tomorrow - Just before the girls fly home.

Probably not. I'm going straight to the airport for my flight - international flights always want you there early as fuck so they can grope you and stuff and make sure you're not a terrorist. Apparently they can tell if you are by touching your naughty bits. ;)

But enough about Mal's junk, I had a blast this year at the meet. Got to hang out with some wonderful people doing what I like best. Next year I'll try to get a BBQ at my place going. How much food can 24 or so people eat anyways? Special thanks to Luis for not murdering people this year from me. I have a bottle of Bourbon marked Luis for you in 2012. Now it is time to wait for all the beautiful pictures to come from this weekend of hilarity.

I also had an awesome time, just like every year. Especially Saturday night (since Friday, I had to deal with the damages the Indian buffet left in my stomach... NEVER AGAIN).

As always, it was fun to see you guys! Thanks to everyone that came in from out of town and I hope to see you guys next year in Montreal, or in any other meet before!

Special thanks to me for covering the $23 tab you left also. I'll assume that was an honest mistake or whatever.

I think overall it was a great meet, the events were all great, the indian buffet was well planned, the karaoke thing is always a good laugh, the laser quest thing went smoothly, everyone showed up on time and paid their dues. The Orchard pub was a good change of pace and let people unwind and hang out.

I think in terms of next year, if i return, ill definately never share my hotel room with anyone from newgrounds again. The whole setting off the fire extinguisher in my room, breaking glasses, and whatever else happend while i was asleep was a bit too over the limit. I dont really hold that against the meet-up itself as it had nothing to do with it and more to do with the individuals who partook in it.

I look literally like a troll in the Gogo picture.

So I got really bored on my flight home and opened up the program that downloaded when I connected my little pocket video camera and tinkered with what was there.

It had a rudimentary video editing software - I was able drag and drop different videos, have some between effects and title cards and put music in it. It had a few quirks like putting in captions included longer videos having very long lengths captions stay on the screen because you can only shorten as far as you can drag - so really short clips of a few seconds each allowed very quick captions but 5 minute videos had long caption times. The music also loops over and over again until you either throw in another song into the loop mix or edit a song to have a 15 minute silence.

I've been battling over getting the beast on youtube. First it was over 15 minutes (clocked in at 19.21), and it only told me this after exporting to 99%. Then it was too large a file and was not recommended for youtube (over 100mb) Again it waited until 99% done uploading to tell me this. Finally it would get to 99% the next three times before deciding that there was no internet connection. So I said fuck it and exported directly to my desktop so I would have the file at least. Then I started uploading it to youtube. at 89% I realized that in order to fit it into the length requirements I removed video but not some sound so the song at the end would have been lost. So yeah, waiting for to export a new file and then to wait for another 45 minutes while it uploads to youtube.
