Oh hi there. Nice painting and stuff that you have in this thread, and I can see why you would hate buildings - your style is too organic to really pull off the look of them. I suppose that I would recommend practicing drawing completely straight lien to successfully replicate the mechanical look of buildings, effectively.

Cool to have you back, I love the face in this one, but dont really like how you shaded these last two... I guess its just a preference, but well.

you are not all together wrong in disliking the shading, though i really enjoy the style of shading, i know im not hitting it where i want to be, i still have a long long road ahead of me to achieve the right balance of black and color. These last 2 drawing really are the first time ive ever attempted straight forward comic book drawings...and i think it shows just how inexperienced i am.

Yeah, I think one problem might be that the black looks really messy; I think you should try some bolder, less detailed shapes. Also you could try to make the black merge with the outlines, try to see the outlines not as much as lines but more as shapes, make them a part of the figure rather than just its border. Bit of a vague description I know, hope it helps. Just keep practicing and im sure youll ace it.

i like it better as well, but i think you made it a tad to dark this time. i dont know though, it might just be me. i also think you cropped it a down too much, id like to see more of his awesomeness. none the less, great work!

Yes, perfect.
Just remember that the claws align with the back of the hand and the fingers.

yar i tweaked the other claws just slightly so they looked more in line with the ones you had noticed, I am alot more happy with it....now for the pain of rendering the hands/claws >.> thanks for the helpful eye good sir :)

i am not sure what this will look like on here (lol automatic resize) but it is 100 landscape studies, each 5-10 minutes in photoshop
