I guess my old one died awhile ago, so here's a new one!
FIrst up is a piece for my art class I finished a few days ago. I want to get a picture of some of the sketches I'm working on, but they're all up at school and I haven't been able to snap a photo of them quite yet.

Well I had been doing a lot of really simple tests in acrylic for a background that I wanted to do in a future painting, and I kinda got tired of well... the simplicity. My friend had been showing me a bunch of this art nouveau stuff that he found interesting, and I really liked the contrast that the lines made. So I guess it was a combination of me wanting to prove to myself that I could still draw and me trying to add in some of that contrast from the pictures I was shown. Man, kinda went on a rant.

Messing around with composition for my next project. Haven't decided if I want to do it in charcoal or something else yet.
Started on that composition from yesterday. I scratched the initial drawing down in pencil, and I started on the first bird with some ebony pencils and white charcoal. Gonna finish him and maybe one more up tomorrow with that same medium, and then go over the whole thing with charcoal to get a nice blend over it all.
Also, newgrounds keeps rotating my photos. Anyone know why?

I'd love any criticism/thoughts on this, I don't draw in charcoal too often.

Shortly after I posted this, I realized I didn't draw a second spinal column or her shoulders. I was unable to redraw the spine, so I just cropped it out shorter... I would upload a picture, but I've already left school for the day.
