I found the spy giving Legion information about NCR troop movements, but I didn't save the monorail. I feel so ashamed...

I also did Boone's mission where you take him back to Bitter Springs. Why can't this guy see that the enemy is the Legion and not himself? Everybody is entitled to redemption.

I usually frequent the VG and collaboration Forums. If you find me anywhere else, I'm lost and can't find my way back.

There are multiple vaults, yo!

That was kinda the point of Boone's sidequest; to provide Catharsis for him and to reaffirm his beliefs. Whether it's that he deserves redemption or that he should forever suffer from regret, well...

He was so unemotional the whole time he was with me. And though he had a reason, I was at least hoping he'd feel better after saving Bitter Springs. But he had to go and say those magic words "I don't really know how to feel after this."

Also, his new NCR outfit is lame. He won't wear Metal Armor anymore. Jerk.

Check out whatever ending he gets, that might help.

As for the armor, that means that his new default is better than the Metal Armor you gave him. Try Reinforced Metal Armor.

I saw something really awesome in Vault 21.

A picture of the Lone Wanderer's (FO3's protagonist) parents in Sarah's room! How the HELL did it end up here?

I don't care, but I like it!

Sorry for bad quality. Taken with a crap cheap cellphone. Play on 360. No PC, no screenshot.

Also, don't fuck with the Khans

They probably used her model, since it's not like anyone would see it without using the console or GECK or whatever. Doesn't mean it's not sort of what his mom looks like, tho. Just look at what the picture is called in the GECK (FO3).

True, may be "non-canon" or whatever. Maybe some sort of "joke" between the devs or something, I don't care.

Still, the file is called "VMomDadPic". So yeah.

...maybe the relationship ended up being so bad that Catherine decided to rename herself to "Old Lady Palmer" and they both just decided to forget it ever happened. Oh James, you crazy fucker.

Well, as long as he can take more damage. In my attempts to find the correct path to Jacobstown, I have run into a LOT of Cazadores, and he barely gets out of the fight alive. I should take away those steel knuckles I gave him. The poor bastard goes hand to hand with any enemy who isn't carrying a gun. Only I should be allowed to do that, because my special golf club is much more stylish.

Once knocked off a legionarre's right leg in an instant kill with a power swing. Bitch didn't know 'bout mah backswing.

You can pick different endings for your companions though which grants them an extra perk. I think at the end of Raul's quest he can either become a gunslinger or a better mechanic, something like that anyways.

Know anything about how to fix the related glitch? If you to that unmarked quest for the ranger without raul present you wont be able to complete Raul's quest. Any ideas of fixing that?

Every companion you find gets their own ending, usually determined by 3 factors;

A. Whether or not you completed their sidequest.
B. How you completed their sidequest.
C. Who controls New Vegas after the Battle at Hoover Dam.

For Boone, his endings range from coming to terms with living, rejoining the 1st recon, becoming an outlaw drifter hunting Legionaires, to being hunted by the Legion himself and dying in a heroic last stand taking many Legionaires with him.

Well, as long as he can take more damage. In my attempts to find the correct path to Jacobstown, I have run into a LOT of Cazadores, and he barely gets out of the fight alive. If I remember correctly, his gets one of two default armor from completing his sidequest, both with a DT of 26. So he'll only wear armor with a DT above 26. As for melee, I recommend giving him a Super Sledge. While he excels at Sniping, I've seen him one-shot SUPER MUTANTS! with a Wuper Sledge. It'll give you a fair chance against Cazadors.

While I don't know how to fix the glitch, I do know that Raul's quest is tied to the "Ranger Takedown" speech option from Randy. It's best to try to avoid speaking to him unless Raul is present, but if you already learned the Ranger Takedown, then Raul quest can't be completed.

Obsidian really needs to come out with the next patch.

I just finished the game, Wild Card path.

It was awesome. Gotta replay it 3 times for the other endings. (I know I don't even need to replay the whole game for the other endings, but I want to)

My next playthrough will be a retarded (1INT), melee and unarmed specialist, legion asshole that goes around killing everyone for fun.

Also, New Vegas definitely was longer for me than FO3 with all of the DLC.

My completion time for FO3 with all DLC: 104 hours
My time for FNV: 115 hours

Makes me wonder why a lot of people say NV is shorter than 3.

Boy, unless you've played the first two Fallouts then you'd best not challenge MY expertise.

On a side note, finally got all the achievements. Woo, as much as I love this game, I don't think I'll be touching it again until ALL the DLC has been released.

Does being retarded affect dialogue in any way?

Makes me wonder why a lot of people say NV is shorter than 3.

Clearly because you didn't do any of the obscene amount of unmarked quests in Fallout 3. I was actually kind of disappointed that doing the tiniest thing for someone somehow constituted the start and completion of a quest.

In New Vegas I mean. Seriously though, it reminded me of those Broken Steel side quests and how easy they were.

Sadly, it doesn't. Oh well. Still, mostly killed INT to have 10 STR from the start. And killed charisma for 10 END. And lowered perception and luck a bit to get 7 AGL. I dig it.

Makes me wonder why a lot of people say NV is shorter than 3.

I did all the quests and "quests" I found in both games. Kinda makes me wanna replay FO3 but it would kinda suck now that I'm used to NV's improved gameplay (and hardcore mode, since I don't play on PC)

Okay, I'm roaming the wasteland working for Caesar and shunned by the NCR and as we speak this NCR ranger is following me probably trying to talk to be before he attacks, it's kind of funny yet scary as I'm trying to run away from him.
