Escape from Butcher Bay is not as good as I remember it being and also it's "bullshit hard" at some points. My weapons serve no purpose other than pissing off armored enemies when I have no cover and/or dark corners to hide myself in, however they work just fine if I can consistently 'hit and run' but the firefights you get into later in the game don't lend themselves well to that tactic. Sometimes any cover I could utilize is on the other side of the room and no matter what I may try in order to get there I'd be dead a few times over before I could possibly reach it. I eventually managed to get past these types of situations by pure luck and running around the enemy baiting melee attacks and dodging them then running to the next door (which they mysteriously refuse to open.) But basically any hallway or room with a static non-patrol guard facing your direction and without any darkness to sneak up on them or boxes/doors/cover to hide behind means instadeath on Hard. You may have a chance to kill them, but if you miss the headshot you're probably going to die or lose more than half of your stamina (which doesn't regenerate.) I welcome that challenge and despite the non-regenerating health they're pretty liberal with checkpoints in the form of health restoring stations but I can't stand when I lose 10 minutes of progress over some bullshit AI sharpshooter popping around a corner and headshotting me (usually as I'm in the process of shooting out lights to create cover for myself.)

Vin Diesel is also a very poor voice actor (he's not a very good traditional actor either for that matter.) The audio in Escape for Butcher Bay in general seems bad, as if it was amplified a few decibels above it's ideal range and occasionally sounds like there's a bit of blaring static accompanying whatever else is being heard. The problem is not on my end either, I played a few games since that time just to test to see if my speaker or sound settings were off but there's definitely something going on with that particular game.

tl;dr: Gamefly should have sent me Crackdown 2.

Just in time for the update, I've started The Lost And Damned as part of my attempt to max out GTA4. So far so good, seems like a fun DLC with better motorbike physics than the regular game (thank fucking god) and finally some new radio stations and new programs on the talk radio.

I couldn't stop playing it, driving around on a chopper shooting other bikers of there bikes with a sawn-off shotgun made you feel so badass, pity it was so short. I couldn't be bothered with Gay Tony after that, the parachuting was shit but at least that arabic man was funny.

I finished up some achievements on AvP to get more than 500G from it and its now ready to be sent back, not a bad game actually, just a little annoying how your always on your own in every campiagn, only problem is I can't find either of my Love Film envelopes, anyone who has or had a subscription know if I can get another one?

Also, even more Green Day Rock Band and Rock Band 2 which earned some Gs and got me past 24,000G.

Now I'm waiting on Skate 3, Destroy All Humans: Path Of the Furon (Nostalgia), Red Dead Redemption, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Split/Second, Pure, LEGO Batman and a Wireless Controller, good birthday.

Yeah this really pissed me off, but I still enjoyed the game a lot. Also by the time you hit 1000G you'll never want to see another Kitty Glitter or Magic Circles challenge ever again, especially a black one.

Well I just got 1000G on that game, which makes two 1000G games I've completed in less than a week, and while a few of the challenges were hard to the point I wanted to strangle something, it wasn't an overall very hard 1000G to get. At least with the impressing the crowd stuff, I would just do land tricks around them and get anyone in the vicinity to count towards the total.

Moving on to my Army of Two 40th Day rental now.

It's come to my attention that After Burner Climax has avatar awards, and the helmet looks sweet, but too fucking hard for me to unlock :(

Also mopping up some achievements in Splinter Cell Conviction such as Realistic difficulty and Deniable Ops and maybe coop.

925/1500 on Borderlands at the moment.

Completed the main story and only need the achievements for getting to lv. 40 and 50 and for killing enemies with the other 3 action skills. Then I can play through the dlc.

Naww no kidding. I reckon I spent about 50 hours (maybe a little less) on normal difficulty getting up to 75% and all the other miscellaneous achievements, then maybe 10 hours on hardest difficulty playing through the story missions.

Naww no kidding. I reckon I spent about 50 hours (maybe a little less) on normal difficulty getting up to 75% and all the other miscellaneous achievements, then maybe 10 hours on hardest difficulty playing through the story missions.

I've spent about 55 hours on it and I'm just over 50%, I started a story on Hardest difficulty but swapped it with my friend for RDR and Splinter Cell Conviction for a bit, I think I'll get that back from him soon and maybe go for 100%, I wasn't going to but now I've seen someone do it I might just.
