Got about 20% of the trophies in the new Need for Speed. Geez, Narf, you've set up some really tough challenges to beat. Racing games aren't my forte, but this one is really cool. Easy trophies too.

If the challenge is better than getting Gold normally, than I should be getting more than 2000 bounty points.

My brother came home for the weekend and he brought The Godfather 2 and Wanted. I've played both of them on the Xbox 360, but I enjoyed Godfather 2 so I'll probably end up playing that and getting some trophies from it.

I'm a racing guru. I didn't think i put in some real good times in yet but i guess i was wrong. I've switched completely to playing online tho since i can still rank up, and its 500 times more fun.

I'm counting the days for GT5. Seriously since blackops seems to be completely broken thanks to patch 1.03, GT5 will make me happy again.

Important Please Read

As you may have noticed, I've included a bumped and added secton. The leaderboard will max at 50. If another user is eligible to enter the list someone must be removed from the list. For the guys near the lower end, don't worry too much. I determine who is removed based on inactivity, on both NG and psn in general. So if your still posting, or at least still getting trophies, don't ever expect to get bumped. Unless the entire list is active, which that isn't even close(we'll cross that bridge when we get there).

If you feel you were unfairly bumped, you can pm me or post, and I'll be more then happy to re-evaluate or possibly find an alternate person to bump. I don't think this will ever happen as an inactive person will be bumped so they wont be here to even notice. But just in case, no problem.

If you were fairly bumped from the list you have to get more trophies to make it back, and then pm or post in the forum to show your still active.

Now for another important topic

The end of the year is approaching and as 2010 is the first full year the leaderboard has been open, we should have an annual awards, for top achievers of the year.

For this year I've thought of 4 awards so far.

All awards will account for the entire year only. Meaning anything you earned the year before wont be counted. If you just joined this year, your earnings will be calculated from the time you joined until 2011.

Most Top Achiever Wins (2010-2011)
Most times on Top Achiever List (2010-2011)
Most Trophies Earned (2010-2011)
Most Trophy Points Earned (2010-2011) (see the trophy guide in my sig)

Hall Of Shame
Least Trophies earned (2010-2011)
Least Trophies Points earned (2010-2011)

The Hall of Shame only count for the people who have been on the leaderboard since the beginning of the year, since it's not fair for people that joined yesterday lol

This years awards will be smaller because we weren't counting individual trophies until the new format. However next year we can have:

Most bronzes earned (2011-2012)
Most Silvers earned (2011-2012)
Most Golds earned (2011-2012)
Most Plats earned (2011-2012)

So there we have it. Should give everyone something to look forward to every year.

Man, Narf is takin' charge of dis bitch. No way in hell I'll be getting any of those awards, but that's just a fun thing to look out for.

Also, I recently found out that my brother had sold Dead Rising 2 without telling me, so that he could get some help paying for Need for Speed. He's got a job, and he got the game for himself. He could have at least asked me first. I was still playing DR2. Mainly for trophies, but I still wanted to see more alternative endings. That's a damn good and fun game.

And I'd feel like a real douchebag by looking up endings on Youtube. I guess I'll just rent the game on weekends or something.

On a side note, I should start finishing up trophies for older games so that I can sell them without worry. The two highest on my list are Bioshock 2 and Borderlands. And those are just grinding trophies.

So yea, I'm going to be picking up FFXIII, Red Dead Redemption, and Gran Turismo 5 this black friday. Possibly Move games as well if there are any deals for it, otherwise I'll wait for Holiday deals.

i found one at TheSource/RadioShack for 30$, but it's crap(it has pedals tho).

I wanted the official GT racing wheel but it's like 300$ lol. Another one that I like even more is pretty much the same price. Eventually i might get it, but i just cant afford it right now.

Didn't really want to take charge but I figured if I'm gunna do it, I might as well do as much as I can for it. I've got a lot of experience with this kind of stuff. So i think i can do a good job with it. The more fun I can make it, the easier it will be for me to stay consistent too.

And who knows what the results of the awards will be. I think there's a good variety in there. Should make it more competitive for next year. Since even new starters have a chance to be the best for the year.

I got a trophy just today for the Monkey Island Speed Run. Now only one trophy is missing (the one for both endings on the same save file). But I think I'll just play some MI2 now.

That's gotta be one of the hardest plats to get because I could never get through some of those missions they give you later on in the game.

i rent games i know ill never play again. Plus renting helps decide if I'm on the fence about buying a game.

Alright, I've had it. I've just got to Rank 30 in Bioshock 2's multiplayer. To get the platinum, I need to get to the final rank of 40. And I'm giving up on doing this the normal way. It now takes no less than 10 decent games to rank up now. It took me two hours to go up two ranks, and I was murdering the random users despite not having played in a while. I can't take it anymore. I looked at my statistics and have killed over 800 people, with 700 deaths. It isn't even a matter of skill, but perseverance. And I've reached the end of my rope through these constant matches with Level 40 players.

Does anybody know if there's a boosting community where I might find somebody to help me complete the more impossible challenges? I've never boosted in an online game, but I'm willing too in this one.

Try ps3trophies.org. They're a reasonably decent bunch.
