Ah okay. Well I'm just gonna give up on it now. The buttons stuck and now it keeps running me into a red wall so I'm constantly dying and theres nothing I can do about it because no matter what I press it does nothing.

Yes, it's certainly possible. I wouldn't know where they are anymore though.

I had to restart the game and look at all the chests. Apparently the game didn't save one as being discovered. It was the Gold Cup.

I remember getting this by standing in front of the weapon shop doing nothing (I was actually reading the medals' descriptions to know what I was missing.) Then I got this medal.
I think you just have to do nothing for some time?

yup, that's how you get it. If you look at the inventory screen, everything comes in order. Since the dead bird and skull were easy to find, that gives you an idea that the bird poop would be in the location between those two items, in front of the shop.

'Rock Death' instead of throwing the rock at the tree, toss it above yourself.

'Wheel of Decimation' Use the SNES controller on a certain baddie. (I'm forgetting which one at the moment. LOL)
