This is a short piece of music, an original composition done as part of the doujin circle I'm in -- A Reyvateil's Melody / AetheRhythM. The release date of Cosmocrystal II Side Red, 30 December 2018, happened to fall on the birthday of one of our visual artists, asa+kari. This piece was done for her as a birthday gift.

The disc artwork I used here is that of asa+kari's original character, a girl named Shia Plines, who loves plants and earth... and during her more unstable moments, sets them on fire. She is a Reyvateil, a race which, in the Ar tonelico universe, is able to use song magic; I think you can see where this is going. Shia's attacks are based on plants and earth and fire.

This particular one, PLUIE=DE=FEU, is actually based on asa+kari's own character bio and exposition, which a number of us in the group have had the opportunity of reading. Up till we gave this to her in mid-March, she had no idea we were doing this for her.
