This is the prequal to another song of mine - Vagrant Soul (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0DIMMED0RQ). This Stained Portait explores the early days of the semi sapient machine, wandering the wasteland after humanity has long since left. Activated by a failing AI, he is now left to explore the dying world.
Vagrant soul explores the end of his life, this explores the beginning. I may fill in the gap between the two songs with a few more pieces and turn this into an EP or album. Time will tell... If that happens I will of course re-do Vagrant Soul in this style.

All guitar and bass was recorded by me. I used EWQL orchestral plugins and Native Instrument synths around these. Mixed using Izotope Alloy, Nectar and Ozone.
