Quick Story:

After having made more actionpacked music my eventual desire became something more chill. Calm yet exciting.

The initial idea flew in my head while mixing my previous work. Which makes sense given these two themes are related.

Despite completely revamping the drums in the middle of process it went rather swift. Mainly due to its comparatively short length. And as seen by my community-post the song was already finished almost 5 months ago. Why haven't I released it sooner? As stated in said post I decided to release songs only when the follow-up is already finished to. Why? Because my attitude towards songs changes over time (mostly to the negative). So I thought I should give myself time to forget about the song for once and later return to see how much my satisfaction has kept up. To see if the song was really as good as I remember. If yes, great. I no, go over the parts I don't like and make them better.

That was my plan. But the follow-up song actually isn't finished yet. Even after almost 5 months it'll remain unfinished for quite some time. I was very far into the process, but I just couldn't be satisfied. The urge to overload my music eventually became to much and I decided to start from square one (well, not entirely. I still kept some amazing ideas).

Plus I had an entire semster to finish (I passed all exams with ease). Call me lazy, call me unproductive, call me lost, but I just can't seem to get up myself. I can at least say that it's my will to change that and will wields some great power.

But all that time I was very satisfied with this one. Recently listening to it after a few months I really liked it. This one easily is my best one so far. It stood my test, there's no need for keeping it away from the public for any longer.

It just makes me feel chill and forget about all my worries for 4,1/2 minutes.

I hope ... no, I'm sure it'll do the same to you too.

This is the direction I want my new songs to go. I just inspired myself.
