I've never played a Touhou game. But I'm broadly familiar with the topic and the music kicks.

Quick Story:

I listen to electro music very frequently (thank you, GeoDash) and after hearing some amazing work throughout the years I wanted to make my own music. Because the beats I often listen to are TouHou Remixes it was obvious that my first project had to be one too. That's were I got introduced to FL Studio just around the end of 2022.

This is my first song. For it I had very high ambitions which ended up taking three months of production with sometimes 8 hours a day. Considering I had absolutely zero experience in music mixing whatsoever just these three months ago the learning curve during this project has been very steep. And my ambitions along my urge for improvement were pretty insane. Arguably to insane. I wanted to be just as good as those who I listen and look up to. And while I wouldn't say I'm super satisfied (after all, this is still a beginner project), I'm still decently satisfied with the result. You can debate on whether it's to long or how familiar all the presets sound, but I still think it turned out pretty good.

The end sequence literally overwhelmed my CPU.

My coming projects likely will be shorter. There will be more Touhou Remixes but also other works. Not sure when though given it's just something I make in my freetime.

I'll yet have to learn the ins and outs of synthesizing which will certainly take some time and energy.

But it's certainly fun and I want to improve myself.

Let's see how good this one will age.
