Here is a new improv from this morning -- I had a lot of recording to do today, and in between projects, I felt the urge to take to my bodhrán and let the beat carry me.

I borrowed a few rhythm patterns that are shared by a few cultures, including my own. The result felt deeply danceable to me, and I hope it feels that way to y'all.

If y'all wanna do anything to this -- add instrumental parts or use it in anything, I can't stress this enough especially for this piece: please contact me first.

I recorded this concurrently with a video recording that I sent to both Twitter and Instagram, which you can view below:

Hm... I must say that I'm in agreement with Aakase on how quiet it is, but there's definitely a rhythm to the drumbeats that, although to my ears would be difficult to put instruments to (then again, I've not got the greatest sense of rhythm), definitely come across as you having some fun with it. The beat carried you along, and you let it come through you. I can't say I'd dance to it particularly (then again, I'm a terrible dancer, so that's probably why), but it's still nice to listen to this.

A bit quiet but headphones makes this sound very immersive
