For starters, the song sounds like an electric guitar away from being a rock song. And I mean that in the most positive way I can think of.
As for the theme. Faith. It does seem like a struggle to hold onto it. But one worth struggling for.
Today's prompt is "faith."
The melody I used for the "chorus" section was based on the sheet I scrawled on mobile Sketchbook in this post years ago. The rest was improvised in a matter of minutes. I do want to make a lyrical version of this at some point in the future, who knows.
I wanted to convey, in this piece, how faith and optimism are two different things to me -- faith is the act of not letting go of the things I hold dearest to me when any optimism about things getting better is lost.
The manuscript was one of many ideas floating about in my head at the time of the 2014 Audio Deathmatch, an incident that had caused much grief and still does to this day. I persist, and I now have the power to make some changes that I did not see when I needed them the most.

Really emotional song, I love it. That main theme is really nice and I like how the song changes tone over time.
Since I don't know the proper terminology to describe it musically, I'll say that I really appreciate the composition and structure of this piece and the tones or moods it exhibits.
I also think that the beauty of this piece pairs nicely with your thoughtful reflection.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
