A beautiful improvisation and solo piece.
Nice use of the piano for such expression!
Today's prompt is "dusk." The title, blue hour, refers to the fact that at dawn and at dusk, the sky takes on a beautiful cobalt blue colour.
Dusk is getting later and later, but on the flipside, the time will soon come that my beloved and I can watch it getting dark in the warmth of the spring / summer air, and I cherish that thought very much. So, I quickly improvised something based on that thought, and the feelings of love and intimacy that it gives me.
I ended off with the stereotypical bell chime that is rung round these parts to mark the hours, thinking that dusk was marked at 18:45. I'm... not too far off? Dusk today was at 18:58 GMT.
A beautiful improvisation and solo piece.
Nice use of the piano for such expression!
After listening "Machine Music" throughout the week at work, I appreciate a bit of calm and peace in life
The Night is darkest just before the Dawn, but that doesn't mean Dusk is all bad. Sometimes Darkness in some form of another when not treated like a negativity, is often considered Peaceful. Quiet as though nothing is around but yourself. This song feels like that.
Verbs to long with high reflections.
Try valhallha at 10%. This verb is right on top of you with a long decay, it sounds unnatural.
The playing, the chords, the piano choice are all perfect. I think you need to balance the velocity a bit. That verb though, eeeesh. Valhalla, cathedral, 15%. trust me.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
