Well, I've been quite a few pictures of Azali in her battle armor, and a one more lewd pin-up piece.

But this time, I wanted to draw Azali in something a little more casual that she'd wear on her off time from bounty hunting.

And so, I came up with this outfit.

Which, for you Metroid fans, should probably already notice that this looks familiar.

I always love the orange casual wear Samus wore in the best endings of Metroid: Zero Mission.

And since Azali is more or less my own take on Samus, it just made sense to put her into this outfit.

Normally I didn't want to make this outfit orange as the "blue and orange trend" is obnoxious, but in this case it worked to my favor.

I'm very proud of the anatomy of Azali on this picture.

The reference I was following had very curvy and more toony proportions, and I wanted to try and apply that myself.

It worked out wonderfully on Azali, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

What can I say, I love this Alien Waifu of mine.

Azali’s Notes:

Oh man, it’s so nice to slip into something a little more comfortable for once!

While I do have my own fun patrolling the universe, taking my bounties, and getting rid of scumbags one by one; it’s a lot of hard work sometimes.

Very often, Pierce has had to tell me “Azali, you finished 10 jobs and one week, and only slept for 30 hours.”

So, when my workaholic brain gets a little burnt out, I head back to my home planet Hyprius to recoup.

It’s hard not to head back home, especially to a planet like Hyprius.

We Hyperians pride ourselves on the beachside paradise that is Hyprius.

Sandy beaches, clean water, crystal clear skies, and the temperature is warm, but never scorching hot.

It’s when outside alien races look at our planet, and wonder how our military is as strong as it is.

But, I’m rambling at this point.

I always head straight to my parents house, just to hang out with them and catch up.

Plus, they both love to hear about my various missions I’ve been on throughout space.

The both of them work as mechanics and their business is booming.

They can fix just about anything they get their hands on, must help to have all the experiences from working on the battlefield.

I make sure I try to catch them on their days off when I can.

After that, I tend to head downtown Neon City and check in on my former CO, Citrine Pwrite.

He taught me so much under his tutelage, more than I think I could ever put in words.

As neat and orderly Pwrite can be, I always get a small chuckle at seeing him in his casual wear with his brightly colored buttoned up shirts.

We casually talk about whatever has been going on in the week, and normally I share with Pwrite some info I get on Space Pirates and their various bases across the universe.

However, I have been saving the best for last.

Heading straight into my home that I scored right next to Stella Beach.

It has the most beautiful sights at night, with the way the water shimmers off the moonlight.

That, and being right on the edge of Neon City, I’m right next to just about anything I might need in my civilian life.

As for my civilian clothes, I like to wear a tight tank top, short shorts, and below the knee boots.

All in a matching orange color.

I also add some bracelets and anklets for the sake of “fashion” but it’s really just an extra bit of protection to keep my body from accidentally shocking someone passing by.

You’d think with years of military training that this wouldn’t be an issue for me, but it tends to happen on the rare occasion.

But, that’s not the only other reason I like to wear this outfit.

I remember the first time I met my top informant, Rick Matthews, I was wearing this very same outfit.

He tried his best to hide it, but I could tell this caught his fancy something fierce.

So, I took that as a good sign to wear this pretty frequently, and eventually it just became my casual clothing as a result.

But hey, I’m all for it.

Hanging out with Rick on my home planet is also a nice way to “blow off some steam” if you catch my drift.
