The first picture of the New Year, and it’s a demon lady, and a sheep lady at that.

I had been playing a bit of Cult of the Lamb again, readying myself for the Sins of the Flesh update.

Or, “The Sex Update” as it’s been meme’d about.

Originally, I was making COTL themed fanart, but, like I usually do, I wanted to just make my own scary demon sheep.

And that’s how I ended up with Jezebel.

Once again, I recycled some older characters I haven’t used in a long while and meshed them together.

Jezebel took far too long to create with the brainstorming phase.

I must have drawn her a dozen different times, with different body types, wool patterns, hair, and showing off her demon powers.

Finally, I landed with this design with more unkempt wool, with bloody red caprine eyes peeking out of her pitch-black wool, and shadow hands coming out of her back.

She also has a bell collar and some anklets and bracelets just for some fashion.

As long as it took to actually finalize Jezebel’s concept, I still very much enjoy her design.

She definitely has that evil impish energy with a body that could turn itself into anything.

Going to try and keep Jezebel around, for once I made an overexaggerated shortstack body that I think I nailed “just right”.

Bio:

As the legends tell from the ancient times, there is a pit in the heart of the world only known as “The Void”.

This void, was known to be a portal to Purgatorio itself.

On occasion, the Hellspawns from below would spew out to cause havoc to the mortal world.

One of the more powerful grand demons was known as Jezebel: The Living Shadow.

While not as malevolent or violent as other demons; she did enjoy tempting the mortals with a fraction of her power.

They’d be blessed with her Mad Red Eyes and Shadowskin.

This blessing would come at the high cost of her victims sacrificing those they loved the most.

While this did give her chosen few incredible powers, they were unknowingly turned into Jezebel’s puppets she could take control over at any time.

What started as a few turned into many, and grew into a massive army.

Eventually, she’d attempt to become the ruler of Purgatorio, but was defeated and sealed away in a Red Eyed pendent locked away in a far corner of the world.

As the seal weakened, the Red Eyed pendent would tempt mortals to hunt it down and be granted “powers beyond those of any dark gods”

It’d be found by a black sheep nun of the Holy Crusaders named Jessica Abel.

Jezebel whispered sweet nothing's into Jessica’s ears about power, and how their Grand Bishop was corrupt.

While Jessica fought the temptation, eventually she’d be pushed to her limit.

Feared for her unusual powers stemming from demonology, Jessica would be burned at the steak.

In her final desperate moments of life, Jessica would give into the Red Eyed pendent, allowing Jezebel to take complete control to resurrect herself.

The sky grew black with red eyes staring at the townsfolk, as one by one, they’d be sacrificed.

With the entirety of Port Germain’s population and Holy Crusaders absorbed into her body, Jezebel was finally freed, and even more powerful than ever.

With her new smaller body, Jezebel has been wandering the mortal world in plain sight, building up her army via “The Cult of Red Eyes”.

Personality:

Jezebel is impish in nature, talking sweetly with her honeyed words in order to lure in mortals to drag off to do her bidding.

This trickery runs deep, as Jezebel has used her powers multiple times in order to shape-shift into other people to cause havoc just for the sake of it.

It’s mostly for her own amusement, as she loves to see mortals struggle

But, this is not to say, Jezebel is without mercy.

To those she deems worthy of her power, they are allowed to stay within her cult.

Most of these cultists are usually mortals with demon essence within them, or newly turned demons.

So long as they do whatever she says, they are fed, cleaned, and allowed to be free from those that would persecute them.

Jezebel also gets a thrill off of fighting extremely powerful demons, as that is a far greater way to measure her power against her peers.

It’s unknown if Jezebel is still trying to become the ruler of Purgatorio, but it seems like she's just living for the moment.

Time will tell if she’ll make another attempt or not, but for mortals’ sake, at least she seems to be gone… for now…

Powers:

The most dangerous part about Jezebel is her body itself.

Made of the purest form of primordial shadow straight from The Void, Jezebel can twist, stretch, and morph her body into any weapon she wants.

Shadow Tentacles are a basic form of Jezebel’s power, but surprisingly effective.

Used mostly for halting and trapping her opponents; or sometimes just to drag them straight to her cult for sacrificing.

Occasional, Jezebel uses her tentacles for tricky, often tripping her opponents in most humiliating fashions.

Her main use of her shadow magic is turning her arms and legs into sharp and blunt objects.

From her back, Jezebel can sprout her shadow hands to aid her in combat with punches, clawing, and even holding other weapons.

Jezebel can open up more Mad Red Eyes all across her body to unlock more of her powers.

She can also fire off boiling hot blood from her multiple eyes like lasers to attack from a distance.

It’s hot enough to ignite whatever it touches into flames, and melting anything else.

Mixing this in with her shadow magic as well, and it becomes a deadly combo.
