Sea Witch's Lair Trap 5- Tickling Jellies

Share

Things had quieted down since the toybox incident, and the three adventurers silently made their way down the halls of the sea witch without much incident following. It was good too, because Melinda especially was not in the mood for anything, except maybe to smash something.

Roland was minding his own business, making sure to steer clear of Melinda's... general area.

And Esther was humming a jaunty tune with no sense of rhythm whatsoever.

Finally a break came in the endless hallways, and the group found an entryway into...

A big hall with very little features. Occasional mirror frames, posters, odd colored algae, and dripping pink madness on the walls.

"Rrr...DOES THIS WITCH HAVE ANYTHING VALUABLE ASIDE FROM STUPID TRAPS?!!!!" Shouted Melinda.

"Now now, no need for all caps Melinda." Said Roland patting her on the back. "We have come so far already we can't just give up now. There's certainly treasure to be found even in this place."

"What about jelly?" Helpfully suggested Esther looking upwards.

If the looks that followed could kill, poor Esther would be a bloody pulp.

"Your tendency for non-sequiturs is as valuable as ever Esther." Said Roland.

"Not sequiturs; jelly."

"What the hell are you on ab-" Melinda said just before the tendril came down.

"Oh n-" Roland said in reaction before the tentacle of fate came for him.

In short order, both merfolk had been lifted high up into a menagerie of jellyfish. Tied up and helpless for the onslaught that was to follow.

Esther, meanwhile, just smiled and sighed.

"I'm happy you guys are having fun again!"
