"I look delicious!" Hummed Esther while Melinda continued her pursuit of the quickly pacing Roland.

"Is it illegal to want to eat yourself? If I ate my top, would that make me bald when I turn back to a mermaid?"

Esther liked to ponder questios like this, along with the questions about whether or not a penguin is actually a fish or a bird? It was the facts of life that cut to the heart of all this conflict. 

At the same time though, she couldn't help a sense of foreboding. Like the feeling you get when you know another hiccup is coming. Maybe they were getting close to the treasure? Though, at this point, it seems Melinda wasn't in the mood to think about that. She seemed pretty happy letting out her stress on Roland. 

Yuck. Candy corn is nasty.
