Esther gasped in shock as the golden whirlwind flung Roland down and down. 

Roland hadn't been a great guy, but Esther felt he didn't deserve this fate. The screaming didn't help things either. At least it had been short. As he shrunk, his coat followed after in his wake, coming down and down until covering the mound where Roland had been. 

When all seemed still, Esther flung herself towards the spot where he had been. She pulled up his coat and... he was gone. Cylla then spoke up to address Esther.

"Don't worry about him, my dear. He's with the rest of my garden. Consider this payment for my treasure."

Melinda had been on the sidelines remaining silent. A heavy box in her hands that Cylla casually handed to her in the confusion. While Esther still processed what had happened, she chimed in.

"Right, uhhh. Thanks for that. Esther, I think we should go."

"Oh no, allow me." Cylla remarked. "Have a safe trip, and thanks so much for coming!"

The busty cecaelia raised one tentacle, and with a swish of the tendril made the two mermaids vanish.
