Of all the things Roland didn't expect to happen today, this current situation had to top them all. The hand. That god damned hand from earlier came back, and it was equipped with a bottle opener. 

Now the damn thing decided to be friendly and help the party. Except this time he was on the opposing side. After freeing Esther and Melinda, it proceeded to take its wrath out on him, by squeezing the ever loving life out of him.  

Today really just wasn't his day. Roland was one shake of a tail from disaster after another. And even now, when his brains were being squeezed out, the damn voices were STILL chiding him! 

~Cylla sure knows how to find good hands.~

~You should have tried for crates. After all, you were the last one with the crowbar.~

~How are you gonna ransom hostages you don't have now? Tsk tsk.~

"HACK," Choked out Roland, "Can you just-WHEEZE-shut up!"

With a wave of the hand, Roland fired a firebolt at the accursed appendage holding him. And as if the thing never existed, it vanished along with its bottle opener. 

"COUGH- Why can't things just go my way today?"

~I say, the buff one seems awfully angry.~

~And closing in fast.~

Roland looked up, "Oh no..."
