Esther couldn't help it. The thing tickled her on the way down. She just did as any other pufferfish mermaid would have done when tickled... or scared... or nervous...or aro-

"Esther, snap out of it and push!!!" 

The voice of Melinda brought Esther back to reality. Right, she was stuck, and Mel was trying to pull her out. 

"Gosh Mel, I think I'm really stuck." 

"Good eyes. Can you push now?" 

"Can't, I'm too big."

"Well then shrink!"

"Can't, it's still tickling me."

"God damnit!" 

Melinda gave a primal growl as she readied her hammer. 

"Right, if you won't get pulled out, I'll pop you out!" 

"Um, can't you get Roland to use his magic?" 

"Bah, he's busy with his own problem. I'll fish him out after you." Melinda positioned herself just in the right spot just below the sea anemone. "If I'm right, the impact of my hammer will send you flying right out of there!"

"Umm, won't that hurt?"

"Don't know. Never hit a pufferfish before."

"Oh. Ok."

"Hold still now!"

Esther closed her eyes.

"Ouchies..." She whimpered before impact.
