"How did we get into this mess?" Screamed Roland, holding tightly to his seaweed wrapping. 

"Shut up and keep hopping!" Replied Melinda, her back chafing from the straps.

"Pufferfish is poisonous! Please don't eat me!" Screamed Esther. 

None of this was coming through to the disembodied hand lurking above, eagerly awaiting with chopsticks. Where the mouth was, was not a question anyone was eager to find out. 

The trio hopped as much as their bound bodies could through the icy hallways, dodging the strikes of sticks with feverish agility. Until fate decided to hand even more horrid obstacles. 

"Oh no," screamed Melinda; eyes bulging at the disaster ahead. 

An ice cactus patch decided to nestle itself in the middle of the hall, eagerly awaiting the crossing of more guests. Besides the patch was a wooden sign reading, "Exit ahead." And atop the sign was a polyp wearing a scarf, it's tendrils beckoning the guests to their patchy grave. 

Melinda's eyes darted everywhere for a possible alternate route. No good, the only way was forward, or backwards into the foody grave. 

"This is gonna suck..."
