Reviews for "Devoured Intellect"

I certainly liked the concept of this game. I got it right on the first try however I am a detective...

BoobMarley responds:

Haha - no way! I'm a crime analyst. What a... small world?!!

Nice little game! Worth the minutes I spend on.
Some suggestion: Can you make the button to advance the dialogue stay at the same position? This is a short game so it does not matter much, but if it's longer and I want to replay then fast clicking will prove to be a problem where I have to look every time to see where the button is.

BoobMarley responds:

Thanks for playing, glad you dug it! I kept the buttons like that to help prevent accidental double-taps and to steer the player into focusing better on the dialogue rather than just going through some motions. I appreciate the recommendation, and have certainly made use of that design in a previous, much longer game (Chalice of Marfa)!

That joke woth the magican was funny, good game that guy (trying not to spoil) if that second question really happend.

BoobMarley responds:

Haha, yup. The person in question is definitely based on a real life "that guy" who shit up an otherwise great pencil-and-paper RPG with me and some friends. Glad you got a kick out of it, and thanks for playing and leaving a review.

the music is real nice

BoobMarley responds:

Be sure to visit the musicians' pages and check out more of their great stuff. Thanks for playing.

Fairly good, although the answer was a little obvious. I question my own ability to come up with responses to questions for a horrible identity thieving monster that has some kind of weakness in relating properly to it. Would a doppleganger have the same kind of weakness? Well, it can read the surface thoughts of the people it's communicating with, so it's far more adept I suppose.

I'm personally aware of intellect devourers getting limited info on their victims, so it makes some sense, and I suppose you left that part of the page off on purpose.

BoobMarley responds:

Didn't leave that off specifically - I was more focused on what barebones to include first, and then let imaginations create problems for each player.
Glad to know at least one player was down with Intellect Devourers beforehand, haha. If you've never played the "Expedition to the Barrier Peaks" module, I highly recommend it. Anyways, thanks for playing and for leaving a review!
