Reviews for "Devoured Intellect"

A fun detective game, my only complaint would be about he shortness of the game.

BoobMarley responds:

Thanks. Understand that it was made under a time constraint for Ludum Dare, so it could only be so long a game.

I went with "A sex drive"

BoobMarley responds:

Haha, not a bad hunch.

It was good for being a game like this but for now it was the best game of detective i played.
Good work dude.

BoobMarley responds:

Thanks :)

one word it was you i always knew it was you XD 10/10 !

BoobMarley responds:

Haha, glad you enjoyed it so much! Thanks for playing.

A short and interesting game that brings back my memory of playing L.A. Noire and other detective based game. A simple point-n-click decision based game that makes you take into account several different factors from the responses of 3 particularly unusual questions to find out who the "imposter" is. Apart from the game being relatively small and the fact that the sequence "a small world" is repeated a few times by the characters, I don't 100% see how this game fits the theme of the Ludum Dare. Additionally this game can be further improved and I would like to see a more complete version of it. You can have more suspects, more questions, you can add more details in their answers and facial features, and obviously more cases to solve. Surely time was limited and only a very basic version was made, but it is indeed an interesting idea. Other than that, and the fact that I was really bad at figuring out who the imposter was, as you can see from my let's play video : https://youtu.be/_OkbbV2kKUI (it's featured as the third and last game) , I still think it's a solid game. So congrats and keep it up with even better ones.

BoobMarley responds:

Woah! Thanks for the awesome review! The copy in both the Success screen and the Credits area expound upon the "A Small World" bit - give 'em good read if you haven't yet! Thanks for playing, can't wait for you to see the next one!
