Reviews for "Beat Chaser 2"

I love how the attacks matched the pace of the songs such as when I pick my own song (x kore-lastwords) where the attack would go slo mo and then into fast pace mode

Nonako responds:

Haha, I use that song sometime when I test the game, really awesome song. Thank you so much! xD

slayer makes this game hard

Nonako responds:

I don't understand. xD

It's a good idea. But why don't use the keyboard instead of the mouse? Playing with the mouse is so uncomfortable and a terrible choice of controller for a game that requieres precision, it should at least have the option to change the controllers, so please fix this and I would gladly replay this game.

Nonako responds:

xD, I used keyboard control in my preview game Echo Bullet and it got many feedback about why I don't use mouse. So this time I use mouse. Because I want to hide the cursor, don't want it cover the bullets so I let the character moves as fast as the mouse, and this is the reason why I can't include keyboard control. xD I can't add the keyboard control for this game but it will be there in the sequels for sure! Thank you so much!

I've been on this game for a bit, experimenting with different songs and patterns, until I found a bug with pattern 11. This bug affected both Flower Viewing and Pattern Training (I'm not terrific at bullet heavens, unfortunately) and when I clicked on a difficulty, the song just immediately stopped, and the screen kinda just sat there. I could hover over the difficulties and go back to the main menu, but never further ahead.

As for the game itself, it's very well done. The unique combination of both genres gave a nice welcome for me into the bullet heaven half, making it both calm and chaotic, especially when a sudden shift in tempo came up in the current song, making it even more dastardly.
The characters seemed too static, really. Just a 4-frame loop or something, and it didn't really do much with the physical appeal. However, this IS more about rhythm and dodging, so I'll let the characters slide.

All in all, it's great fun, and I hope you keep it up! 5 5 Fav

- I just tested and don't get it. This problem sounds quite weird to me. If you still get the problem please let me know. :<

Thank you so much for playing and feedback!

Well, it's a great game, but I couldn't use my mp3 songs and I tried all of them. I'm using Chrome, could I get some help?

Nonako responds:

I and some others tried this game with Chrome but everything is still fine. I'm not sure what is the problem in your case. I wonder if all of your songs have un-supported sampling rates, it seems hard to happen but still possible. Can you help me try with other browsers and let me know if it works? Thank you so much!
