I love the old-style feel of this game. Although the game does take a while in same parts, its one of my favorites.
Finally made it, took me a month or so but end it; dude, it is too hard to upgrade, and even though the story is to be liked and so are the characters but I think they need a little bit more development rather than just tons of narrative of what happened before. I liked this a lot although I won't be going for + dificulty. (On a non-that-related note You got me worried with that storyline of yours since it has a lot of elements that could be considered too similar to those on a novel of mine, fortunately you wandered off that path) Congratulations
This game is currently incompatible with the latest version of Flash. Fortunately, I was able to play it before my computer sneakily updated.
The gameplay is pretty standard for a top-down shooter, but that's not to say it's boring. Quite the contrary, it gets pretty intense at times.
The upgrade system... honestly, I didn't like it. It would take entirely too long to get everything up to a point where I could get past the next level. Normally I love upgrade games, but this just made it slow and tedious.
The drone idea could also use a bit of polishing. While it's great you can sort the drones by individual characteristics, it a few more sorting options would be nice. I also feel like you completely ignored Evasion. Sorting by name and Evasion would be great, as well as giving more drones a boost to Evasion.
The story is well done. The interaction between the characters is fantastically written. It's sad at times, funny at others... one or two errors, but that's only in grammar or spelling. Beyond a bit of proofreading- and it's not even that big of a deal- it's all perfect.
