Reviews for "Amber Helix"

I played through the entire game, I loved every single thing about it. It's been a while since ive seen any hard work put into a game. I applaud you sir. I would have liked to see more development on the characters though. maybe a second game? anyways I look forwar to seeing more from you.

Got to a field of lasers. My girlfriend was calling me.

"Give me a second, they are shooting PLAID at me!"

"They're shooting what at you?"

*looks at screen...

"...oh. Nevermind."

This game has great music, a sense of humor and is a fairer take on bullet hell shooters.

This is a very underrated game. It's one of those games that you have put a lot of time into in order to fully enjoy the experience. Sure grinding is annoying, but most good games out there involve some form of extensive grinding.
This game really does a good job telling a story through the development of the relationship between the captain and the ship; it's definitely worth it all the way through. And it's humorous! From the picture of the dog, to the candy bar, to the broken cd with recoverable files, to the audio files of the ocean, this game does an excellent job in presenting its personalized message.
This is the kind of game that's well worth the time you spend on it. It's not very often that you run into games like these!

The soundtrack is excellent. But the game is long, and eventually it'll get old. I recommend Barretso's 2011 album 'Celeste'. Track 1, Chase, is exceptionally well suited.

Up Earth Garden. Fuck all Bannermen.

Great game, sir! Other than the great game play what really stands out in this masterpiece is the story telling; and man, what a story! You have the makeup of a great writer; such a rich tale presented solely in text conversations. You should really think about writing a book.
Great game, thanks for the experience!
