Reviews for "bit Dungeon"

I am going to keep it simple...Decent game! I greatly enjoyed it...although, i wish there was some sort of class choice at the beginning; as i always choose the elvish mage. For i am Azarathe! The great elvish mage of Iscalio!

Sonuvabitch! I died because I clicked on an upgrade and it froze me, causing my ass to get kicked... think I was around level 30 or more. Ah well... I was so powered-up it felt like I was gonna go on forever.. is there an end? Fun game for sure... though not very challenging once you get the hang of it. Awesome graphics!

I don't understand a lot of the mechanics though... for one, the weapons have levels, but their level changes from screen to screen for some odd reason. Sometimes I was left without magic and I don't know why. What do the numbers that pop-up when you kill an enemy mean... is that just the critical that pops up? What's the fire crown that sometimes appears over your head? What do chop and cleave do? What's the point of ever putting points into critical, which only happens sometimes, as opposed to just putting those points into attack?

Alrighty. I've gotten to Lvl 23 without dying, and now learning of some kind of permadeath, I'm very glad I did.

Basically, guys, all you have to do is pour all your upgrades into attack. Don't recollect the magics once you get Chaos. And for the love of all that is holy, if you see something with Magic Proc on it, drop ANYTHING and put that on. Proc is absolutely devastating. I walk into a room in the Demon Dungeon filled with monsters and suddenly they all disappear. The Red Armor "Sorcerer's Shoes" is your best bet. Gives movement speed and 18 Proc.

I feel like I'm writing a walkthrough. Anywho, this is an incredibly lovely game, though there should be some kind of saving system that INFORMS you that you've saved. The level-to-level freezing is a bit annoying, and this permanent death sounds very unpleasant. So those could use a bit of re-hauling.

But this is an incredibly entertaining game, and I plan on playing it until I get the most powerful armor. Which begs the question, is there something after the Light Blue?

Oh, and if you think you might die, just go back and forth between two rooms you've beaten and feed on the Fiends' health potions. They are there for a reason.

Its VERY well done. You got the atmosphere perfectly. That game IS entertaining, and truly feels like a zelda. A true jewel.

To my opinion, 2 things prevent the gameplay from being perfect
- You have to comeback and slay fiends/spirits to get full life of u just cant continue. That should not be the case. Gameplay is flawed.
- Whether you die or not depends too much on luck, and not on player skill or strategy.. To many enemy attacks are impossible to dodge (melee range etc). Regarding strategy, the player should have more choices than only focusing on ATK/STUN/CRIT (btw what is the real diff ?). Some real choices about his avatar that would truly affect his winning chances.

Last, i finished the game then started back on level1 with the sorcerer swords (from last boss). I guess its a kinda hard move but nothing was explained...

NEED A WAY TO SAVE BE FOR I DIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
