I love this game, but one quietion: Does it ever end? I played for a while now and I like long games, but after I got to the altar and took the shadow sword I got back to the first caves and began to fight the old enemies, monsters etc.

It's a great game! I love the old-school feel to it, reminds me of all the old RPG's I used to play back in the day. It's engrossing and makes you want to keep going no matter what just to see what's in the next room and what new loot you'll get.
However...I do have one gripe about it. I made it to Dungeon 5, just got the Demon Hammer--which I assume is one of, if not THE best weapon in the game--and I died in the first room of the fifth dungeon and I had to start all over...that took off 2 stars for me.
I'd suggest add in save points or auto-saving after you beat a boss so that you don't have people pulling their hair out when they have to start over...or, if you can't do that make health potions more frequent or refill the HP and MP meters to full--if you really took a beating from the last boss--before the next dungeon so you stand a fighting chance and not die after one hit.
One of the best games i played for a while.

Good game, but it needs a save thing, something to record your progress.
no saves and its too long to be so unforgiving.
