Reviews for "Trigger Knight"

Strange...

Is it possible to complete 100% of the game? I got a score over 5,550,000 and only saw death

One of the best EVER

Wow guys. Just amazing.

Idea is amazing.
Gameplay is new.
Replay Value, just wow.

For anyone having trouble:

Get that Golden Voucher, and be sure to start a chain with it. Always be sure you have enough money for the next one. And the divine edge is BEAST.

Divine Edge + Anything over the flame sword = 1hit KO.

As to what the voucher does, I'm certain it has something to do with gold. I had 20 gold leftover after I bought it. Used it in a battle, and came out of the battle with +1500 gold.

Tips for the game: Armor is the best thing to upgrade, watch your soul and get those bloody vouchers!

Overall, I would pay good money for a bigger and more advanced version of the game. LOVE IT!

alright

very good game just wish there was some sort of skills or some other things you could use to make it a bit more fun bit all and all it was kinda fun

Interesting game, but randomness is annoying

I read the other reviews and tried to do some of the things that they mentioned (upgrade the sword, save your potion until you need it, buy the divine blade to kill the dragon), but the problem with its random system is that while some say you have to think on the fly, the fact that you get hit with things you need when you have no money (i.e. Buy an armor upgrade for a monster fight because you have little health left, then get hit with a row of shops so you die because you didn't have the gold to buy the life increase) gets annoying.

As for the gold ticket, it double the amount of gold you will get from fighting a monster. While this sounds nice to use it sucks if you get that or an elixir and then you get hit with two dragons that were three monsters away from each other and no divine blades in between.

Way too random..

This game appears to be pretty good, nice concept and nice graphics. Im a lazy guy so the idea of an one game button seemed rather nice to me. The problem with the game, in my opinion, is that its randomness is very random. The only sure thing is that dragons appear after day 8, other than that it doesnt allow you to build a solid strategy. I think that the developer should ensure that there is no way that two dragons appear with less than 10 events between them. Lat time I killed a dragon, another one appeared after just 2 events. Impossible to beat. Also I think they should balance a little the distance between 2 shrines. Perhaps have always one appear when your lifespan is less than 50% or something. But then again, that would ruin the randomness of the game. I am currently level 24 and with my little experience I can share the following..
- I try not to upgrade my armor until I have used my first potion
- I usualy upgrade my sword first, which also helps with lifespan. The faster you kill enemies, the less lifespan you spend on them.
- I refill my lifespan after it reaches 40%. On rare ocassions I didnt make it in time
- Obviously I try to have with me a divine blade since its the only way ( so far ) to kill a dragon
- I still havent managed to buy a gold ticket and actually use it. Last time I bought one, the next monster was a dragon. I activated it just for the heck of it and perhaps the dragon chuckled a little before killing me.
- Maximum I reached I think was day 16 when I was killed by a dragon who appeared only a couple events away from the previous one who I killed of course with a divine blade
- Being able to carry just one item at a time might seem fustrating but I think that it shouldnt change since the gameplay's mechanics rely heavily on that aspect
All in all, its a nice game but I beleive its 70% luck and 30% strategy, a fact that I dont appreciate.. Still, I reached whatever level I reached which means I gave it more than a go and Im still playing it.
