Reviews for "Trigger Knight"

Well...

This game has a lot of potential to be fun, however the main problem is that it's just far too luck reliant. It's extremely disheartening when you don't save up for a gold ticket, about 3 stores within 20 events pop up, yet when you actively try and save, you get 1 in 30 or 40. The fact that you have to have a gold ticket in order to get any meaningful progress in the game, let alone 100%.

There's also the fact that Dragons completely obliterate you unless you've upgraded a lot or have one of those divine blades. Also, the fact that you don't need those blades except for Dragons makes it extremely nerve racking when you see one. It basically forces you to gamble on either a game over or wasting 200 gold.

You can easily fix both of these problems in that game you're going to be making by basically giving us markers for when the Gold Ticket houses are going to pop up. And by that, I mean putting a number that tells you the number of events that will transpire before you reach a ticket.

For the dragon a simple Divine Blades right in front of a monster is really all you need to signify that, since dragon slaying is pretty much the only thing you need. I really wouldn't be stressing this if the elixirs you can get are much more reliable than a single instant kill that only buys time until you can either buy an elixir again or an armor upgrade.

But overall, the game was pretty fun. I enjoyed the simplicity of it; it's just that there's a little too much luck involved in my opinion.

It Repeats.......

First off, -2 three stars for game play:
-The action gauge is completely randomized, which is a good thing and a bad thing, because in order to proceed and get 100%, you must run across at least several soul shrines and one vocher store, which i hardly ran across one.
-The game and music gets repeatitive after a while.

I know that this was just beta, and for that i thought that this was a good game. As with all other games that are out there right now, I think that yours have its own uniqueness to it.

-Add levels and different music to avoid the repeated scene and music.
-Introduce different skills that can be brought.
-Introduce gauge altering factors such as items that make more weapon or armor store appear.
-Get rid of the Soul Gauge. It interfers with the main game play, and otherwise serves no purpose to the game itself.
-Introduce a variety of characters and specialize in an area, such as offense and defense.

Good luck on the Sequel.

Pretty good

Too luck reliant though. Get rid of that utterly stupid lifespan bar though, it's hard enough getting money to progress well.

Great game!

Nice music, great gameplay, and it's pretty fun! The first thng I notice is that the game's graphics reminded me of a game called Yggdra Union. For me, the replay value is high.

Really fun, but...

It get's tiring... I don't know if it's because I'm not that good, but I fought the dragon for the second time and lost and I'm starting to feel a little bored.
