Reviews for "Dangerous Dungeons"

I really wanted to give this a 10/10

This game is so great! I love the graphics, music, theme, platform - everything! But, the bosses are WAY TOO DIFFICULT. It's never a good idea to have a situation where the player is forced to make immediate decisions on a time constraint - especially when those decisions are almost completely based on the length of time you hold the jump button down.

I was trying my best to fight through the second boss, but I just couldn't beat it (and this was about a half hour of the same level). The first one was alright until the ending. But, there is no hope for me on the octopus thing.

Extreme level of difficulty keeps me from giving 3 more points, sorry :(.

fun game but get hard to fast and me being a dumb ass i didn't look to see how to jump take me 10mins before i find out so for that i'll jump up my rating by half

3 stars for it being fun half a star for me being a dumb-ass and not looking at how to jump it would have been 4 but it get to hard way to fast and you need some luck sometimes

Control bug needs fixing.

Seems to be quite a big problem with this game. Occasionally, the controls get stuck and the character continues running in one direction after you've stopped pressing the directional button. This is quite a serious flaw considering the game involves lots of precision jumps and such.

I only got up to level three. I stopped playing at that point because I died three times when little Timmy kept running off a ledge after I'd stopped pressing the right directional arrow. If you can fix this, I reckon you'd have a genuinely enjoyable platformer.

AdventureIslands responds:

I have never experienced this bug. What exactly did you do when it happened?

like the sequel

i have the following problems in this game and in the sequel:

i hope its a bug/glitch that he moves sometimes not even if i press the arrow keys or that he dont stop moving sometimes even if i DONT hold the arrow keys.

Not bad, but it has several issues here and there, such as clinging to corner's (a wall top's edge) when jumping forward, hit detection being somewhat off, very small platforms, VERY fast scrolling on the last level, and the like. As I said, is not a bad attempt, especially considering it was your first game, and I really liked it. Still, the remake is far better in every aspect, being the superior version by far. This really shows how much you have improved along the road. Congratulations.
