god this feels like IWBTG

in a good way, i honestly love platformers, especially like this where it's a mix of challenge yet not too hard, a nice curve that is hard too hit (for some people anyway)

i felt that the hit detection for the spikes and some fire traps were... dodgy, i had a number of deaths when the fire pillars vanished, and when i landed on a platform with spikes on the side, yet somehow i touched the spike and landed on the platform at the same time, the bosses were a nice touch, altho the most frustrating part, but whats a boss if it's not hard right?

final point: is there a sequal?

Thank you. Yeah I will work on a sequel, but first I want to create a whole new game. Then I use the experience from this and that game to create a truly great sequel.

I really wanted to give this a 10/10

This game is so great! I love the graphics, music, theme, platform - everything! But, the bosses are WAY TOO DIFFICULT. It's never a good idea to have a situation where the player is forced to make immediate decisions on a time constraint - especially when those decisions are almost completely based on the length of time you hold the jump button down.

I was trying my best to fight through the second boss, but I just couldn't beat it (and this was about a half hour of the same level). The first one was alright until the ending. But, there is no hope for me on the octopus thing.

Extreme level of difficulty keeps me from giving 3 more points, sorry :(.

Really fun game

After about an hour and a half I managed to beat the whole game, and I must say I had more fun with this than any other flash game in some time. Deffinately the best platformer in a long while.

Fun and Interesting, but Flawed

The game overall was fun and entertaining to play. The graphics were nice, as was the music. The gameplay is where I started having problems. The puzzle/platformer style gameplay works well, however, the jumping mechanics do not. Hitting the ceiling instantly makes you fall back down. The edges of certain blocks also force you to end your jump. If the jumping mechanic was tweaked just a little more, so as not to make frustrating edges block the player, it would be a better game.

It's so frustrating couldn't beat level 19... 10 was already a bitch 'cause there is this uber big hitzone and u always hit an edge while jumping... which results in getting fucked by this stone... later on it doesn't get challenging... just annoying if u die because the jumps are sometimes to low or sometimes too high... btw I know that u can control it by holding the key but seriously who does use this system every game supports doublejumps instead!
I rather play "I wanna be the guy" it's frustrating but atleast funny!
another point is... that guy want to be a treasurehunter and can't swim? he even drown in water which is only reaching his chin? seriously... The graphics are just average nothing special and as you can see I find the gameplay and most important the controls pretty dumb... the sound is ok it's just ... it get's pretty anoying if u get stuck... and at level 10 it really pissed me off! always the same sound repeating after every death...
I know that coding stuff and doing the art is hard work and u want ur cookie for but u barely get mine! next time add a mute button and doublejump as an option.
still good to waste time for mm like the first 9 levels...
