Only Problem: The music restarting

Awesome game, great old school feel, I can almost imagine being a kid again playing this on SNES or NES even. It is hard,but it's nintendo hard, so people need to stop bitching about that. At least you don't have a set number of lives and continues.

My only bitch, is the whole 'you beat the level, simple little diddle will now override the awesome music that was just playing and restart it. ' or the same thing if you die. Basically if you want to hear the whole song you have to just stand there and listen, which ruins the flow of the gameplay.

Other than that it's fucking great. Hope to see more like it.

Pretty fun, but unforgiving

Great little game, but it will have you pounding you fists on some levels. 10 is a perfect example: your going to die to learn how to get past a part, only to get a little father and die agian! Great graphic and a fun little story. Great job!

Super Level-Design, nostalgic charm

I finished the game except the Time-Trials (without checkpoints) ...phew - that was hard! But also a lot of fun! Your bottom-up level-design and successive difficulty raise is impressive. Also liked the music and sound effects, nice sprites and a very nostalgic charm. Maybe I died like 500 times during the game (especially at the lava-boss) but still very nice game!
