Reviews for "The Last Fight: Final Ep"

Overall OK

The animation is pretty good itself, but Iv'e seen a major mistake. when he was standing there and had his weapon in his seath it was hanging on the right, but when he starts to fight he draws his weapon on the left side. I practise swordfighting with katana aswell so that really draw my attention.
Otherwise nicely done, good music.

Hm, yeah.

Well, even though the animation needs some work, it wasn't bad. However, you had so many unnecessary movements. Like when he ran towards the enemy. Can't point out where, however, but he runs forever. Which reminds me of monty pythons holy grail, where he attempts to run towards to the castle and he runs and runs, but takes forever to get there.

The attack scences is too drawn out. You don't need to see him move his sword through the body of the other in slow motion. Just show the sword on one side, then a blood effect off the enemy, then after that, a quick switch to the next attack sequence. Like he is mad with rage.

He doesn't look mad right now, he looks.. hell? neo-ish? I must kill you for great justice! Huzzah.

Doesn't work. Also, the fact that you made the story optional instead of blending it with the movie to give it more depth.. it was a bad move, which makes me lower your score even further. A retelling of the previous episode from the view of the brother could've helped.

Also, you could've spent more time to portray the anger of the brother as white eyes and dark colors doesn't make him look angry, not if that is all that you do. You could've made him breathe heavily, shown him grit his teeth.. clutch his fist.. then go berserk. Slizing up everything, making the blood fly around him and finally zoom out, showing a field filled with corpses with him standing in the middle breathing heavily.

I think that would've added to the effect of him being seriously pissed off.

Still, i may not have liked this one, but doesn't mean that i might not like your next one. Good luck with your future animations.

meh

not really all that awesome. You've got the same problem her as last time only worse. You don't actually animate the clashes between people just the scene after. It's like you have all of the key frames but didn't do any tweening. Your style is good just not for battle flash animation. If you can't even properly animate every sequence in a fight (like seriously the fight with the boss lacked any amount of epicness at all) then don't do fights. After al, it's not the result that's important to the audience since this is just a two-ep series, we haven't grown to love and know the characters and could care less if Zak got his revenge or died trying. All we want out of this is epic battle scebes and you failed to bring so. Lighting, Animation style and music choise (though all amazing) are nothing if you can't entertain with solid material, that means either intense story developement (which this has none of) or extremely epic and detailed fight scenes (well i've been ranting about it for 4 minutes now so you KNOW you don't have it). anyways, a valiant effort but really just not all that awesome. 2/5 5/10

ya i guess

nice job on this the music was gr8 and love the art, but the animation didn't match at all. you wer going for way to epic for the quality of animation here. plus it was too short and there was no battle. They just stood there and took the beating. you've got the right mind set and u should defenetly attempt this short again, just bring the animation and content up a notch. Sweet choice of music thow.

Meh.

I wasn't that impressed to be blunt. The animation was extremely simplistic, and while that can be good, in this case it mostly looked like only one or two parts of a scene were actually animated, especially in the final fight sequence, with the Glowing-Eyed-Boy flailing at the Squiggly Black Thing. It's not terrible in comparison to some of the Flash that ends up on the front page, but it's not terrific by any stretch of the imagination either.
